Newmar missed out on meeting many of the greats. If she'd done the movie she could have teamed with Burgess Meredith, Cesar Romero, and Frank Gorshin.

I really like the way they did the villain,particulary Burguess meredith withe pinguin (it's how I see the character ), I feel like a lot of those 66 villain should be use more often like egghead or king tut
 
been starting to watch episodes of this with my 5 year old.
it's great batman intro 101 for children.

i watch the show as an over-the-top action comedy.
my son watches it as a serious superhero show.

and as a batman fan, it's also a time-capsule to see how previous generations viewed the character and his world.
the show works as a fun adaption of the silver age batman.

so many different layers to enjoying batman '66.
