A couple of random observations, only recently noticed, in the Batcave-set Blueprints... it has the so called Atomic Pile labeled as "Lava Generator" suggesting the atomic power is actually fueled by energy from lava flow AKA: geothermal energy, which actually makes sense in an underground cave.
And just another curiosity, Alfred has his own service elevator, to the left of the bat-poles, (makes sense he wouldn't be sliding down.)
Which going by the layout in the library, should correspond to that door behind them, to the left of the secret entrance (between that credenza with lamps and the fireplace).
