This will be different from Snyder’s Affleck take because there’s a difference between them as storytellers. Batman learning how to cope with his rage isn’t new, but it’s also standard Batman. Nothing about this looks or feels like what we’ve seen in a Batman film outside of Pattinson being younger, and even Begins wasn’t Bruce a year in.

I just wish Reeves went in a different, fresher direction is all I'm saying

I see the similarities with Affleck's more 'angry' approach, but the execution is very different. And makes more sense for Bruce to be immature and violent at a younger age than older.

We then get an hour scene of him painting a giant batsymbol on the side of this huge building. I think Pattinson can really show his acting chops in those moments.

The look of Riddler is ok, not my favorite. It’s a bit more radical than what I would have picked. I would’ve gone with something more like the Arkham Knight Riddler

I love the new look. I’ve said before that I think of it as replacing the spandex outfit. There’s still a possibility that he will wear a suit or something along those lines. Riddler is still being marketed as very mysterious, so there’s no telling how his look will evolve.
