Anyone know if this Batman film is supposed to be connected to the larger DCEU ie aquaman and WW?

This film standing on its own makes me happy, tbh. I love how Reeves trilogy is contained inside its own thing, and while I do think it'll connect at a later time, with the likes of possibly margot robbies harley quinn and such, it'll still feel like its own thing.

All indicate,at least, for the moment anyways, that it a stand alone.

I really hope this is a trilogy because I wanted see what Matt Reeves is going to do with Bruce Wayne’s arc throughout the trilogy. I really liked how he handled Caesar’s arc in the two Apes movies. Since this will be during Batman year 2, I’m sure the batsuit is going to have a transformation throughout the trilogy.

Thats the last thing i woud think abou right now, especially since we get some kind of Flashpoint Flash movie in the near future.
Maybe that will answer questions, but at the moment i would take this as a standalone universe unless they tell us clear as day otherwise.

With people suggesting the bat symbol is from detective comics 27, Matt Reeves posted the above tweet for Batman’s 80th anniversary and I wonder if it’s like the villains all over again when he posted the museum pic of Catwoman, Penguin and Riddler?

Will the ears look like this?

I can't see Patz being overjoyed about being in film with Superman or The Flash. It doesn't seem like his bag. However, Bale is going to cut loose and do Thor: Love and Thunder so who knows ? He could get the right offer.

My feelings exactly Mr. Giacchino.

Yup, I GENUINELY love Burton's, Nolan's and Snyder's Batman, don't hate Schumacher's, even though I don't think the movies are very food, and can't wait to see Reeves' take on the character.

It's no dick-measuring contest. These men are all contributing to the character's long lasting history and legend.

I LOVE Nolan's Batman the most, and then Michael Keaton's, and while I really don't care for Snyder's Batman, he has his fanbase. I wish the Snyder fans would stop turning it into a contest.

It's both sides, really. Both the Snyder fans AND haters are to blame. The latter are just as bad and have long been bullying people into having to agree with them about "the Snyder movies being bad."

I think BvS is bad but others like it. I mean I'm a guy who likes Sucker Punch and that's not a popular opinion to have at all. So I get defending Zack Snyder because I've done it.

If you can't stand up you can't do war!

So it's Rob's stunt double?
