Rachel Dawes isn’t a Batman comics character, she only existed in the Nolan trilogy.

With all of these trailers coming out this week, I don't think we're going to see any new casting or news. Assuming WB is going to let Wonder Woman and Birds of Prey have the spotlight.

To be honest I doubt WB cares about that. There's only so much attention a Harvey Dent or Mad Hatter casting would bring unless they get a very big name (which I doubt) so either way it's not like this next casting announcements are gonna be of much interest to anyone but us and maybe a section of Film Twitter

She was great when played by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Katie Holmes was ok but not as good of an actress....

I never really had an issue with Katie, but Maggie was so good that it exposed Katies shortcomings in the role.

I thought Holmes and Gyllenhaal were both the weak links of their respective movies, which may suggest it's just a bad character.

Rachel was a poor character throughout. Shame as I was really wanting her to be a strong one in Bruce's inner circle.

Rachel was a nagging girlfriend/wife type. Written as rather unlikable. Neither KH or MG could do anything about it.
