The BATSUIT Thread

It's strange because this costume appears nowhere else in rebirth.

Doomsday Clock takes place a year in the future from everything going on in Rebirth. So thats why the other Batman titles dont have it

Gary Frank indicated that the new suit would start showing up in the other titles.

The new Batsymbol looks like a condensed Adam West symbol.

Nah, wanna know it reminds me of? The Telltale symbol.

It looks like they've condensed that down and put it into an oval. That ain't a bad thing, mind you, just an observation.

I'm not an oval fan, but I guess sans-oval had its run for a while, let the oval fans have a run again.

There's not much to say about that figures design. It's simply classic Batman. Not any accents or additions that make it note worthy.

To be honest, I especially like the idea of the cape forming at the neck, instead of it being a complete one piece, as seen on that figure. If the secrets of the BvS cowl can't be found by someone else, I wouldn't be against that being used to allow the cowl to be "head turnable".

They need to use a green sleeve for the neck. And just CG it black. Give the actor full mobility with the neck. Make it black and textured in post.

That was an earlier cover.

This is what Boom's talking about...

Yes please :hmr:

I think going back to the full body armored suit (Knife and Bulletproof) makes sense for this new Batman movie.

Yeah. The design of the batsuit isn't one of those films' strongest elements. Especailly TDK suit. Which is gag worthy.

I know it won't be Nolan's, but they should go down the road of having a suit that can protect the body instead of a typical material that can tear easily.

Batman has in recent history always worn something protective. Look at all the damage on the bvs suit. No tears, just scratches and scuffs. And a couple bullet holes that seemingly don't go through the material. There are ways to make a batsuit look protective without doing the Nolan plates and armor. Look at the comics, there are occasions where we see Batman take damage and there is armor underneath the cloth. Much like we saw in justice league.

Much like Bale's voice, I think the suit looked good in Begins, but after that film it just went off a cliff...

Begins suit only looked good. It moved as if Bale was being controlled by a puppeteer who is a stroke victim.

The person inside the TDK suit actually moved like a human being. But shine any kind of light on it and it looks like a sick joke.

The BvS suit made Ben look like, or perhaps this was just Ben himself, he looked like a chronic drinker who hasn't taken a dump for two weeks.

Ben looked like an action figure with only 4 points of articulation lol. Suit looked good. But while Affleck was standing in it he looked extremely stiff.
