I hate the forearms and cowl but dig the rest. It looks very first time type suit but my god is that cowl hideous

Doesn't look very good. I don't like those ears at all but I don't want to judge the suit based on set pics. Set pics don't look very good most of the time.

It looked a lot better in the movie.

They literally cropped the wrong batsuit on Bale's suit lmao. The one on center is clearly Bale's, the one on the left is the stunt.

It’s a stunt double filming an action scene

The final product is guaranteed to look far more impressive than someone managing to get a shot during the production of a film.

I know the approach they’ve taken might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s alright. But I really feel like the suit will evolve throughout the film.

Because I don’t think seeing Pattinson in the real thing will change my mind, I’ll just go ahead and say it: this suit is a step down from Affleck’s (DOJ). I have my issues with both of them, but at least the DOJ outfit was something new and different. Pattinson’s, though very well executed, loses points for ultimately feeling like more of the same.

Now that you mention it, the suit does look quite similar to the ones for Bat in the sun.

Between Arkham Knight, the Armored JL suit, Gotham's tease and whatever's been on show in Batwoman, I'm getting a little sick of this style of suit.

even what I briefly saw of pattinsons test footage looked to have the same issue of a small head

Yeah, the stunt double suits are a stepdown from the ''hero'' suits, especially when doing these kinda stunts. I would imagine they have a bunch of different suits and cowls for different scenes and whatnot. Not to mention the extra safety protection they wear here. A good glimpse of the final form tho, but only a taste.

Still, the BvS suit for me won't be surpassed anytime soon. That was the suit I always wanted to see and I got it.

unless you go full spandex suit like spider-mans last 2 movies, rubber armor and latex is what works for batman on screen.

BVS suit from cowl to boots was perfect along with the gray and black colors. For all the stuff snyder got wrong with his movies that batman suit and tech was not one of them.

The overall design will pretty much be the same seeing how detailed this stunt double suit looks, but some materials will be different. My guess is that the plates will look more armored.
