The BATSUIT Thread

The arrow gauntlets are starting to grow on me. It really goes for a hardcore no nonsense approach where he prioritizes function over style or theatricality. I hope he brutally shoots criminals in the shoulder or legs to incapacitate them. I really want this Batman to really be at the limit of whats acceptable
Imagine if those darts are filled with poison of some kind lol.

And to think...after that camera test footage people were saying they were getting an Adam West vibe?! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!! :D :applaud

Why do Nolanites and Snyder Fanatics or whoever prefer just one definitive version of Batman on film anyway? I hope they aren't the same in other mediums like trash the Arkham Origins/Injustice Batman because it's not Roxksteady's Batman or rip apart any animated series not being the 90's show or love one specific era of batman in the comics by a particular artist/writer and loath everything else in history

Nolan and Snyder certainly inspire strange cultists. But so did Todd Phillips Joker ;)

Yes please give me more of a angry, hardcore, no nonsense Batman. I know many people didn't like that aspect about Batfleck, but honestly if done right it could be really awesome to see.

Am I the only one who prefers something like Jensen's homemade cowl over Robert's?
The jaw area instantly makes me think of Robocop

It reminds me of some sort of Ancient Egyptian jackal mask that a priest would have worn during funeral rituals. Especially from the side. Though I have been watching The Mummy Returns a lot lately.

Quickly tried something in the manip thread. Thought it would be relevant here too.

I guess that Pattinson will have a more fitted version of this.
Despite not being a fan of the armored look for Batman, I have to say that I really like what is happening here.
In the camera test, I loved the homemade cowl but it felt disconnected from the look of the torso. Now, with a global view of the suit, I can see that the armored portions are limited and not overdesigned, and so, the cowl don't feel out of place anymore.
The whole thing has a coherent rough look that I really love. Plus, he definitely looks like a knight.

Yeah, I assume the little bubble head effect is due to this cowl being an helmet for the stunt man.
Makes sense, yeah. I didn’t think of that straight off.

This suit, rusted... decaying metal/appearance... this seems like a suit Bruce would put together fitting aesthetic wise an Arthur Fleck esque Gotham. Rough, crude, mean.

*drops bomb and run* :hehe:
