Spider-man's SHIELD suit from Far From Home isn't a bad starting point, in that it blends fabric and armor pretty seamlessly. I'd still give the fabric a rougher texture, though. Just for that extra grit. Kind of an obscure reference, but I'm thinking of that white kevlar vest that John David Washington wears in the first Tenet trailer when he's scaling the building. Otherwise, I've said on several occasions that one of the reasons I quite like the current suit is that it's very evocative of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 1 (a tactical vest over a sneaking suit). I wouldn't mind seeing this same basic concept applied to the next suit - albeit more streamlined and a bit more uniform in appearance. Less clunky armor components.
I don't mind the all-black utility belt at all, so that can stay. I really like the collar, but I'm not married to it, so I can take that or leave it. As for the cowl? Personally, I like the current one as is. If I had to make changes to it at all, I guess refine the shape of it and make the nose more angular. Maybe make it tighter to Pattinson's head so it doesn't look as bulbous in certain shots. Just little subtle changes that push it a bit closer to that classic Batman look, but without losing this cowl's character.
Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough, I need Reeves to at least attempt the fully-enveloping cape. If I can just get a filmmaker to come out and explicitly say, "We really wanted it, we tried to do it, but it just didn't work," then I can be at peace. Otherwise, I have no way of knowing if anybody had actually tried to pull this off beyond just concept art, and that thought drives me crazy. It's THE classic Batman look - the fully cloaked silhouette. Until I've been told by filmmakers that it simply will not work for x number of reasons, I will never stop demanding this in a live-action film.
