I hate the necessity of it, you can always see it on close-ups of Batman's face or eyes. Why? The only way you know of the racoon eyes, are with pictures like this. The makeup is supposed to be apart of the cowl. It was a genius idea on Burton's part to do that.

Here's an edit someone did using Daredevil suit as a reference. Obviously the cowl should be different but I really like that material for the body. Looks protective but not overcomplicated.
Obviously we all have our own opinions... but personally I genuinely think that's the single most boring option they could go with. I've seen all sorts of different fan-made Batsuits that are comic accurate and fabric based online and frankly, I've never really liked the look of them. They don't look genuinely 'cinematic' to me, no matter how well you light the scene or anything.
It always looks like a six foot plus man in tights to me. IMO the padding, the armor or more mechanized details we see in the films and modern video games- comic inaccurate as they might be- typically give the suits more detail and texture to them to where Batman looks more uncanny and frightening.
Personally speaking, I just think the 'fabric based comic adaptation Batsuits' only work in comics and animation. They're different forms of visual media.
This looks like a cross between the Nolan and Snyder suits.View attachment 25706

Generally I agree on the Cosplay suits. There's only the odd exception, like Julian Checkley's Arkham-based one which in fairness is ridiculously well done, so well done it made it to the Guinness book of Records.

You mean like Cap's suit in Winter Soldier?Daredevil was limited to its TV show budget though. I'm sure if they use the same materials/philosophy but with 100,000 dollars more it'll be executed better.View attachment 25707
I like that the costume actually looks like clothing when it's on a rack, unlike Affleck's which miraculously maintained its shape like it still had a person in it.Daredevil was limited to its TV show budget though. Lose the jigsaw puzzle and I'd be onboard as wellThis one is cool af
The only thing I would change is the belt. It's too... yellow.
-Okay, Ben, this is your big shirtless scene where Bruce is vulnerable and maybe there's a little hint of possible romance with Diana.
-Actually, I'm not working out for this so rewrite it so Batman wears a suit under his suit.
