Ok so if they recast Affleck, do they go a complete different direction with the batsuit or no?

I expect the suit will change, since Matt Reeves and (presumably) a new costume designer are taking the reins. Different filmmakers, different creative sensibilities. Just look at the difference between Snyder's Mera and Wan's. It's almost night and day.

Whether Reeves' batsuit will be more faithful or less faithful than the BvS/JL suit waits to be seen. We really haven't gotten much from Reeves regarding what his favorite interpretations of the character are. Who knows?

I think I want to see a progression of the same suit we've seen so far. The Jl suit is updated but has the same feel as the BvS. I'd like to see the same base with updates for each movie. (Regardless of who is inside and what size the actor is) is like to see a progression to a more blue and I'd be in for an oval at some point

I think they'll stick with the gray and black. It's been very well received.

Batman has had different suits before, and likely will have different suits from film to film even if Affleck stays...changing the suit isn't a huge deal as long as it's a good chance.

So in the new Justice League poster, the batsuit comes across as blue and gray and it looks pretty ****ing legit. Wouldn't mind seeing this as the actual color scheme.

Half the reason I'm excited for the solo Batfleck film is due to the fact that the suit will probably be tweaked. Whether its a prior story to BvS or something that happens after JL, I can't wait. My dream suit would be leaning towards a bit more of the blue (Supes inspiring that lighter tone ) with possibly some sharper, thinner ears but still short (think Jim Lee). Slightly modified bat on the chest maybe too? A fan can dream!

Very early BVS concept art.

First design is terrible, but the second is very awesome. Looks like a mix of Batman Begins and Arkham Origins. I'd quite like to see it for the next Batsuit. I like the material as well, looks like rhino skin or something, compared to the denim the current suit has.

I actually really like the Rebirth suit (depending on the artist), but "hell naw" to seeing it in live-action.

Thats what I would like, just go very easy on the purple.

BvS suit(based around new actor) just a tad lighter, JL cowl. cape, cowl and gauntlets a very slightly metallic/gloss blue. Inside of cape a very dark flat purple.

Yeah the regular comic designed cape won't really read like that in live action.

I really hope there's not much change to his costume for the solo.
A few small tweaks but the same basic design.
Black and grey.
Fabric over a muscle suit.
