Oh please. The chest bumper is the dumbest thing. Also all black (AGAIN) is just blegh.

Yup, after re thinking about our discussions, and what we saw of the shooting ,what we know about Reeves sensibilities, pretty sure it will be a home made battle gear. With that idea in mind, assuming that we're right, what would be acceptable for you guys?
Should note the body model for that is the BvS renders you saw but I think it'd work really well.Voila. Could be wrong, of course, but when thinking about a Reeves Batman, that's what come my mind.
What I like it looks like something Bruce would use during his normal course of Bat-work but would obviously have suits designed for heavier combat when he's expecting to go up against someone like Bane or Croc etc...Yup, It looks agressive and ready for combat in a city, it is practical and could be scary.
I agree that would be best.I would really dig something like that. I just want a flexible one piece cowl.
Ehhh I wasn't a fan of that suit. That was imo one of the weaker elements of an otherwise great show.Pretty much.
Basically if (and this is a big 'If') Jett's info on the Batsuit is accurate, I'd put my money on Pattinson's Batsuit generally looking like the classic Year One/Hush Batsuit if it were drawn in Bermejo's hyper-realistic art style. So most likely it'd be made in a similar fashion to the Netflix-MCU Daredevil costume.

Long ears have never made sense. Not if Batman needs to duck in tight spaces at all or have any maneuverability or fit in a vehicle with low head room etc etc etc etc...
And neither does a cape that can get caught on things, weigh him down, be used by opponents to grab him, or get in the way of fighting. We are talking about a comic book superhero, of whose existence not much stands up to close scrutiny.Long ears have never made sense. Great point. I think it can look like Bruce assembled it himself using high end equipment. The Arkham Origins Batsuit was meant to convey that specifically in the interviews the game's developers gave. Not thrilled about a super home-made, rough-looking Batsuit. I know we won't be getting a clean, spandex look for the new Batsuit, but I also don't want it to look like something that was cobbled together, made from scraps, or something that resembles a hunting/military outfit with a Batsymbol slapped onto it.
Bruce Wayne isn't Peter Parker. He has access to vast wealth, resources, and technology. I wouldn't expect his first/prototype Batsuit to be super sleek and fully formed (like his comics look), but even if he made/developed the suit himself, I would still expect it to look very competently/professionally made and relatively "complete", if not fully formed.
