The more I look at the ears the more they start to resemble bug antennas.

The more i look about this Batman suit, the more i love it. Yes not everybody is going to love it. Of course, it is not classic Batman (yet? ) Yes it is rough on the edge. It's a young ( agressive?) Very urban Batman. And it is a stunt suit. And those are spy photos. I think of Reeves wonderful visual style and i'm already thinking, that it is going to look awesome , with a very Batmaney style.

Seems like a lot of people feel this way, me included lol. They're too thin. The bug-eyed lenses didn't help either.

I love this art, except for the inclusion of the goggles that were most likely just there for the stuntman's sake. Really believe those will be removed digitally in post.

Not a perfect manip, but this is what the cowl would look like with a bit better shaping and modified eyes. The eyes still aren't completely right, they should be a bit more like Deadpool or Daredevil, but I can't be bothered going that far. I love the idea behind this cowl, I just think they could have done a better job of it.

I also think anyone expecting the "final" or "real" suit to look any different will be disappointed.

But those are just the regular suits with something missing. Nothing about the new suit in these set pics looks missing (apart from the cape, of course), unfinished, or made out of some kind of cheaper material than a "hero" suit would have.

Hope we get a pic of pattinson in the suit today. I think it's unfair to judge this until we see pattinson in all of his glory.

I still looooove the BB and TDK suits, even though people seem to particularly not care for TDK suit. But I still love it because even though it was different, it was still Batman and it fit into that world. I feel the same will happen with pattinsons suit.

Also, TDK is not just the best CBM ever, but one of the best films ever so even if people didn't like the suit, it doesn't matter. For me though, TDK suit is amazing and if I loved that suit and that portrayal, then I think I'll love this portrayal and suit. Why? Because it fits into the world Reeves is going for. And so far, I do love the pattinson suit beltoo.I ieve the homemade and almost sloppy look is meant to show how Bruce made this thing, and how it's early in his career.

Thanks for posting these! I wish more would google more and complain less. Then they would know its inspired by Zero Year and Arkham Origins!

Just because it's inspired by those things doesn't make it look any better.

It can't really be a proto-suit if this is Year Two. It can be an initial suit that gets replaced by another one, but I'm not holding my breath.

My thoughts exactly. This looks week 1 suit at best. Batman should have his **** way more together two years in.

The suit reminds me of Arkham Knight:

Like the BB suit, despise the DK one.

I like the BB suit but it looked really bad in the beginning of TDK.

Taking into account it’s a stunt suit, I dig it. A little busy but seems to work. A bit surprised as they were leaning into the detective thing I thought it would be a little less brawler and sleeker. Glad it isn’t ‘teh puffy’ though.

Me too. I wonder if his arc will not take that into account. He could begin as a brawler, and use more and more his brain.

At this point it's impossible to know exactly how accurate the stunt suit is to the real deal in context. However, when I saw the official reveal, I thought we would get something closer to this (minus the addition of a jaw brace)

Hence why these set pics are so disappoiting. None of the set photos from other Batman movies look so unsightly

And this is more a nitpick but for a costume that's supposed to be "more realistic/practical", the collar bugs me. The suit would be both more practical and better looking without it.

I think the purpose of the collar is to give the “thick neck” silhouette but still allow for neck mobility for the actor.

Its frustrating, and yesterday was just rehearsal for today's stuff. It wasn't even the real shooting of the movie lol
