The BATSUIT Thread

That's extremely limiting though.

I agree that for most scenes he should probably be very concise, especially when interacting with criminals and normal citizens.

However, when he's talking with Gordon, or Catwoman, or Alfred, I think he should talk more. Maybe even if you have a moment like the one at the end of TKJ of Batman offering help to a criminal or something.

Batman is a creature of the night, yes, but he's also a man, and on a movie that's meant to explore his point of view of the world, I feel we should see more of his humanity, and how complex he is in and out of the suit.

I'd agree he should definitely have his frequency of talking be relative to the person but you can also quite easily achieve the idea of Batman being quiet and mysterious by simply having him not answer to particular topics. I did something like that when I played the Telltale games. Whenever anyone asked Batman about himself, his psychology, etc he'd just be silent. When talking about the case at hand, or even the other person, Batman would be more vocal. About himself, however? Ask him anything, you get nothing. Similar rule of thumb wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea for the movie

I mean, yeah, he doesn't like to talk about himself.

I think the comics get his dialogue right for the most part (except Tom King) he's always pretty concise and pretty imposing in just his choice of words alone, but he switches it up if he needs to and if there's a truly emotional moment that calls for it, he talks more, or if he just wants to get something specific from someone and knows that being an standoffish ******* isn't gonna cut it.

I’ve gotta say, I do like how this cowl looks in profile.

Also much better with the eyes uncovered.

I ain't saying this is anything mind-blowing, it's a bit of a no brainer. But to my knowledge, none of the movies since Returns has really done that. To return to it would be fantastic to see.

Is it me or the suit looks a bit different from yesterday?

Ya know after some deliberation, I probably wouldn't mind the tactical look if the cowl and emblem were more to my liking. Put an Arkham Origins cowl, yellow oval, that would save it for me.

I feel like since Returns all of the cowl ears look good dead-on, but so/so in profile...

This is the first to pull of both in my eyes.

I love how the top of that iron fence looks straight out of a gothic Batman comic... and they didn't even have to dress it, that's just how it is.

Also, just hit meow much of this Bat Bike is reminiscent of the BTAS bike.

cowl looks good in those new set pics there.
yea thats def gotta be the "hero" suit.

suit got more ninja vibes than ever before.
he also looks more like a knight now. a dark...knight.

Am I the only one who prefers something like Jensen's homemade cowl over Robert's?
