This is easily one of my favorite shots in the trailer.

My esteem for the ears on this cowl has grown immensely.

Same. With everyone in here propagating the rumours of a second suit, it makes me fearful of losing so much of what makes this suit great. I really don't want another Begins to TDK situation, where the replacement is a massive disappointment. I really hope that any evolution of this suit at most adds some more classic elements, without losing the wonderful aesthetics of this one. At most, I would like the nose of the cowl to become more pointed, some heavier, properly bladed gauntlets, and a more compact utility belt, hopefully brass and brown leather to breakup the monochrome.

the suit is starting to grow on me.
the cowl still looks weird in some angles; and very cool in others.
but i think once we to see it in all it's glory and in detail, i will probably grow to like it even more.

the practical and DIY look of it fits the story they are trying to tell really well.

also, it does feel like they took what nolan was trying to do with the batsuit in the tdk and improved upon it.
it's way more mobile.

i really like the levels of black on it and the way the bat symbol is designed.

I remember saying this back when the suit was first revealed and getting a ton of grief for it. This suit is basically a better execution of what Nolan was trying to do. I could very easily see this suit inhabiting that world. You could edit Pattinson's Batman in behind Ledger's Joker in the interrogation room and it wouldn't look out of place.

It's just that this suit is much more aesthetically pleasing. Even with all of its different components, it appears much more uniform and less busy than the DK suit.

yea, like overall, as of now, i think the tdk cowl might be better.
but taken as a whole, the whole batsuit for pattinson is better designed.
tdk suit looked like jigsaw puzzle. lol.

The TDK suit is blandly fine and makes him look like a shadow in the dark which I like but, yeah, that cowl was a terrible choice for Bale's face. It doesn't take me out of the movie or anything personally but I really don't know why they didn't make something more flattering.

In hindsight, I wish they had just stuck with the BB suit. Limitations be damned.

A victim of the times, I suppose. Imagine the BB suit with the same materials/tech used to create Affleck's suit.

Personally the BB suit has always looked like a cheap, bloated 90s relic in most lightning. Cowl is way better for Bale’s face though.

Antiquated or not, I'd have taken two more hours of this:

Yeah, I like the body of the suit enough to be cool if it stays like that for all of Reeves' films. I do love variety so I would commend wanting to change it as Patman develops, but I'd be a little nervous that they ruin a good (great) thing at the same time.

We didn't get as many dynamic shots with the DK suit. The only one that really springs to mind is the shot of him on the bridge in TDKR. Otherwise he looked much more like a statue in that thing.

I tried to find a gif of the epic shot in Begins of him watching over the city as dawn breaks, but inexplicably I couldn't find it.

I kinda prefer the gloves and gauntlets on the TDK suit. The Begins ones look too much like cheap dishwashing gloves, they're too plain and simple.
