I'm proud of myself, day 3 of no smoking is going well. Been drinking a lot of tea in it's place when I'm home though. I've been getting mad followers on Tweeter today for some reason. Did almost $400 in sales tonight. Didn't have to ride the bus home. I'm off work tomorrow.

^Only cuties with big booties could make all that sweeter. Still, good show DJ.

Thanks Krypton. Seriously though, 27 new followers on Tweeter today all from one tweet to another DJ. I really don't understand Tweeter at all haha

Sorry DJ... For most of us business hours are 9am-6pm Monday through Friday, not counting Holidays.

Haha I just posted that because I got a dope remix of Flight of the Conchords "Business Time" I love those guys and love when I run across a really cool remix for funky ish like that. But I feel ya, man. I'm calling it a night too bro

I swear, these graveyard shifts are going to drive me insane...

Senty... Jury is still out as to whether you were ever in possession of sanity in the first place. :shr:

Seriously though... I've been on graveyard since 2001. Think that over.

The key is adjusting your time for all things and GETTING YOUR SLEEP and PROPER NUTRITION. No offense Senty, but it often comes off as though you don't do either, so of course the short term is a living hell for you. Just saying, but take care of those two and you may find it a pleasurable experience. But you have to make the adjustments necessary in the rest of your life and daily schedule. And there are benefits. When you leave FROM work, most are going in the other direction on their commute so going and coming from the job should be a cinch compared to other workers. You are mostly on your own and as long as you run a tight ship on your shift you should be immune from most workplace politics (unless you go out of your way to involve yourself). But you got to have your own stuff organized enough to get to that point, and above all that means getting a full 6 to 8 hours every day and eating right and adjusting your schedule. If you get home at like 8am then you can get in a good 6 to 8 hours and be up in the afternoon for what ever and still have time for evening activities and then hit the job.

Just my two cents Senty. :yay:

Thanks Kryp, but I just can't. I need a normal schedule with normal hours. I don't have a social life anymore because when I'm not working my friends are working, and I NEED those relationships in my life. I can't even write anymore because I just don't have the energy to. I can't look for dates because I'm always working at night. This is simply not the life I want.

Luckily I'll just have to bear with it a little more, my assistant manager may be getting a manager position at a store closer to my house and he wants to transfer me over there to work days, which would be a godsend.

And I was never in possession of any sanity.

One of my mother's favorite films and novels, and it always makes me scratch my head as to why, given her hippie-dippy (:woot:) teen years and generally Liberal leanings on most things. My mom always says that what ever else you may say about Scarlett O'hara, she was a survivor, though my mom says that the love triangle in the book is far more compelling than the film due to the writing and casting for Wilkes was underwhelming (of course against Gable in his prime few other actors WOULD have made much an impression in a part opposite the super star.)

GWTW is my favorite movie. i love everything about it. the history, the curse, the score, all the stories around how it came to be, etc.
i collect memorabilia too /fangirl

you mom is totally right about Scarlett though. Scarlett was the ultimate survivor, in a time where women weren't supposed to be strong. not only was the country and her family dealing with the perils of war, but she also faced a lot of personal battles that many people still relate too.

Couldn't sleep for crap last night. One of my DJ buddies hit me up on Bookface and I ended up chatting with him till like 4:30am. I thought working out would have made me sleep like a baby. And for some reason ever since I quit smoking I have had a stuffy nose. It's almost like I am having allergies or something but I've never had a problem with allergies

Step One: Enter death's realm and tamper with the astral locks keeping a particular species within the realm.

Step Two: Capture all the members of said species returned to life by the nullifying of death's hold.

Step Three: Breed said species to be used as a source of fossil fuels

Profit

I couldn't do the overnight shift again. I mean I suppose I could if it was that or go out the door, but they would drag me kicking and screaming. I'm just too old and the hours are just too hard. :(

I have seen Gone with the Wind. While it's a really good film, it's not something I plan on watching again.
