Anyone think they can throw The Beetle in Spider-Man 4 as simply an opening sequence where some hi-tech criminals are trying to steal something from like some museum and they show the Beetle in some cool hi-tech costume and him and Spider-Man have a nice opening kick ass action sequence where the Beetle is put in his place as a C rate villian?

Think it would be cool. Then again you can use Shocker or Rhino for the same purpose.:spidey:

Though I like Beetle, I'd rather see him in an Iron Man movie.

Beetle is a cool Villan, but I don't think he should be in a Spider-Man film.

No to the Beetle.

Eh, probably not. I would like to see Shocker though.
A little creativity put into that costume could be pretty sweet.

Heh.
"Where do these guys come from?"

Such scenarios should be left to, shocker.

The Beetle was a weak villain. And more of a D-class one too.

Shocker really isn't an A list Villian, so I don' think he would work in a Spidey film. Shocker is cool though.

Ahem.....since when do you have to be an A list villain to be in these movies? Sandman is a B villain at best and he was in SM3. Shocker could easily work into these movies simply as a thug or opening scene fight as someone stated earlier.

No, Sandman, though he hasn't been taken as seriously in recent years, is definately one of Spidey's lower-level A-list villains, the others being:

Carnage
Doctor Octopus
Electro
Green Goblin
Hobgoblin
Kraven
Lizard
Mysterio
Scorpion
Venom
Vulture

Shocker is definately B-list, and would not be able to carry a movie as a central villain. He wasn't even able to hold his own as a central villain in the comics.

^^^^
Most of those guys you listed are B villains. A list villains usually are very few, while B an C villains usually are the bulk of a super heroes rogue gallery. In this case, Spideys only got 3 A list villains:

Green Goblin
Doc Ock
Venom

I think you could add Lizard to that list.

And you're right about those being a class above the others I listed. But if those guys are B-list, then that knocks Shocker down to C-list.

I only say Shocker is a B villain because hes managed to defeat Spidey more times than most of the other villains have.
