Who in the F*** is 'The Guess Who'???

They did the original version of American Woman and These Eyes ("oh they're crying, these eyes have seen a lot of love etc. etc."), among other things. You probably know some of their songs even if you don't recognize their name.

My vote is The Who though.

If you guys know the song "American Woman", then you should know The Guess Who. That's their most well-known song but they have plenty other very good songs.

Geez, this is a horrible pairing. Hard to choose between these two. Zappa was absolutely the more inventive of the two, but Joplin and Big Brother practically DEFINED an entire generation and helped to bring blues into the mainstream. Damn. Damn. Damn. *flips coin*
