The best story

Hey, I have an interesting question.
The are lots of treads about the best Batman stories ever, but what do you guys think is the best recent Batman story/story arc?
Lets say since 2000.....

I have to say Hush is the only one that I immediately can think of as a fantastic story, but what do you guys think?

Well, to me it's The Long Halloween. Falcone tries to put his dirty money at Gotham Bank but Bruce rejects. I love the way Loeb handled Dent's back story.

Well yes, but the Long Halloween is from before 2000.

Have there really been no fantastic Batman related stories in the last 6 or 7 years?

i did think Hush was excellent, prolly cause my fav artist and fav writer were working together.

this latest Face to Face arc has been pretty solid.

I'd say Hush. Tied with TLH for my favorite Bat-story.

Batman and the Monster Men. The Man Who Laughs deserves mention as well. Both of them are two of the best Batman stories ever, IMO.

I'd throw in Batman Year 100.......although, the ending confused the **** out of me.....but it was good. But, it's an elseworld.

Paul Pope's art is like an aquired taste. i really loved Hush, Year 100 and i can wait for the mad monk

I have to agree. When I saw the cover for the first ish of 100, I thought it looked intolerable. Now? I love it.
