For me one of the worst moments was the Matrix complete rip off episode

I really didnt think it was that bad, we have had plently of rip off episodes throughout the series run from the saw one, the hangover, and many others i am blanking on at the moment.

Yeah, i heted most rip-off, while the Season 9's finale was great and had some good action i hated the execive slow-motion in the Clark vs Zod battle, it seemed more like a parody than a serious fight, execive slow mo in smallville hapened a lot of times but in that fight it really was too much

I guess for me there's many bad episodes in Smallville. I think for me everything from season 5 on was pretty bad. The last season was just awful. The best for me was the first season.

The Matrix episode from season 10 was pretty bad.

The series should have ended when it left Smallville. Or before pre-Superman Clark Kent fought every Superman villain.

I just cant agree to that, yes there was plently of bad episodes in season 5-10 but no way to say all those seasons were a complete wash out. Pretty much all of them were good and to some only certain arcs or for the case of season 7 and 8 the last half of seasons were there undoing. Season 9 overall good, and i thought ten held up pretty well. But every season has there good and bad episodes.

Speaking of which what is everyone favorite guest hero and guest super villain?

I would say that out of all the 10 seasons, I think season 6 was the worst overall. Nothing progressed for Clark during that season. You would think that Green Arrow's appearance would have made some sort of an impact on Clark but at the end of the day, he decided to remain in his barn and only help people close to him. The Clexana love triangle was just bad along with Chloe being a meteor freak. Lois was introduced to the world of journalism and decided to make it a career so I guess that was a good thing. Aside from a few episode gems (Justice, Labyrinth, and Nemesis), most of the episodes were either just okay or pretty bad.

Darkseid has potencial, had potencial, but the finale ruined him, i think Brainiac was good.

The first seasons had a lot of flaws too, the first flaws began when there were too many freak of the week episodes, it became too much of a coincidence for them only to appear then and for them allways targeting the same people.

Then they tried to correct it by focusing more on Lionel Luthor, the problem is that Lionel changed his personalitites too many times, from blind, to a saint, then he was bad again, then he wasn't, then he was a good guy and died as a good guy, then he was in fact Oliver's parents killer, then he was remember with disdain by Clark and his other universe version ends up becoming the last Lionel appearance.

I think a major problem is that they forgot or rushed some elements and characters, for example, remember Lana's friend that died? The one that reapeared as a clone in season 1 or 2 as a little girl? I tought it was a predecessor for Bizarro, it made sence, but they ended up aging her and making a completelly diferent Bizarro from what i was expecting.

Nothing of what i said is supposed to be insulting for the show as i liked it a lot, but it sure had a lot of problems

The Worst for me is Easy. Promise. If I want to watch a soap opera I would watch during weekday afternoons. While the show has done many things worse then the events of Promise, i don't think there is any episode that if I broke it down minute by minute that is as bad as Promise in terms of stuff that I rate negatively(basically there was the Shelby scene I liked, the Lionel stuff was passable, everything else is bad). Promise was like 42 minutes non stop of a storyline I hated. I personally don't understand how some people give that episode a free pass because while they aren't fans of Clexana they like how we got 3 points of view of Clexana.

With a close second to the title of his thread, should be worst not wrost :P

The Worst for me is simple it's SuperLama, that storyline was jost dumb.

I agree there lana was such a waste of a character after season two for me.

As for my favorite guest villain. Definately has to be brainiac, marsters played the role well. Plus his story was pretty good.

My top 5 worst episodes:

1. Power/Requiem
2. Supergirl
3. Ageless
4. Eternal
5. Sleeper

Overall worst season = Season 7. I mean I really really hate that entire season. Only episodes I would watch again - Siren, Traveler, Apocolypse, and the last scene of Descent.

I definately would have sleeper/power as some of my top worst episodes.

It's is good to see the Smallville sub section to be placed here, instead of Misc. TV Series.

I really hated Blue, really did...

Yet, Glen Winter directed it and he sent me his copy of the script... I now am conflicted. (Still thought the guy who played Zor-El hammed it up quite shamelessly...)

I'll have to give it another look.

He also sent me the floor plans for the sets used in the episode and a print of the comic from Finale. Don't remember if I posted these in the other forum, but I hope they're worth reposting:

Was Requiem that bad?
I never really paid attencion but didn't Lex's death make it a big episode?

It made it an even bigger disaster... because it's LEX... DYING...

But I seriously don't understand how anyone can watch that krypto torture kiss and not cringe that they had to end Clana on such a disgustingly awkward and disfunctional moment, instead of just letting their relationship end on good, healthy terms in Bride.
