Superman (1978) ................................ Superman has just found Lois's car after the earthquake. He tears off the car door, lifts out her lifeless body, steps back and holds her in his arms. Time passes (we don't know how long, could be second or hours) and still he stands there with her in his arms before finally setting her down gently on the ground. The realisation begins to build that just like with Jonathan Kent, he couldn't save Lois despite all his huge powers ...................... and this turns into grief, tears and an angry rage as he screams at the heavens and takes off into space to turn back time.

I've seen the original Superman film about 30 times now, and this scene still gives me goosebumps. Seeing Superman finally lose control of himself is something else, and Christopher Reeve really nailed it.

Batman Begins: When Batman hangs that chubby thug in the air. "Where were the other drugs going?- I never knew. I don't know, I swear to God- SWEAR TO ME!"

The Dark Knight:All of the Batman and Joker scenes.

Watchmen: Rorschach as a character.

X-Men: When we first see Wolverine in the cage fight. Awesome way to introduce him as a character.

X-Men 2: Wolverine going feral in the Mansion on the soldiers.

Spider-Man 2: Train scene.

The Incredible Hulk: When Hulk says "HULK SMASHH!"

The Green Hornet: Kato as a character, and when Green Hornet uses "Hornet Vision"

There have been a lot of them. Spider-man 2 train fight comes to mind. ...Batman as he stands on the scafolding at the end of Burton's first movie.

........but guys, the greatest, most iconic moment in comic book movie history is Superman's first reveal in Donner's movie.

There is a reason all others pay tribute to this moment. It's classic. I was so young that I don't remember much from that age, but boy do I remember seeing this in the theater. Like everyone else, I had spent almost the first half of this movie waiting for Clak to become Supes. Then this super tense moment with the helicopter, and finally the shirt rips open and the approaching "S" fills the entire screen as Williams music kicks into high.
Well, there's a reason I'm on these boards.

Elgaz - awesome pic. Reeves totally conveys his emotional rage. He looks genuinely angry/upset!

Karelia - I meant to mention the Train scene plus the after effect with the commuters. Just an amazing example of filming/scripting.

co2 - Yes. I do remember waiting impatiently at the theater for Superman to appear as well. It was almost a glorious moment for a fan of super heroes.
KUDOS goes to the score of Superman. What an Ultra-Heroic theme Superman has from these films!

I know this isn't a film/movie. but since I am on the subject. When Christopher Reeves appeared in Smallville and that same theme played. It gave me the same goosebumps as when Reeves first pulled his shirt open to reveal the "S". What a beautiful tribute.
Sorry... didn't mean to pull off topic!

Batman Begins - The Batmobile scene and Liam Neeson's Ra's Al Ghul revelation (that scene had great dialogue)

TDK - the Two-Face scene was outstanding.

X2 - the Nightcrawler introduction

Superman Returns - Superman rescuing the plane =D

Blade - The Bloodbath scene

X-men - Mystique's fight with Wolverine

Ghost Rider - Johnny and Carter Riding trough the desert as the song plays that was Badass!!!

I wasn't a fan of the movie, but Jackman's Performance in Wolverine was fantastic, for what he was given.

Spider-Man 2 : The Train Fight
Spider-Man 3 : Birth of Venom / Finale
Iron Man : The Origins of Iron Man

The birth of Sandman was an incredibly beautiful scene.
Basically every scene in Batman Begins that Katie Holmes is not in.

The final act of The Dark Knight. If I could choose a moment, it wold be the final word exchange between Batman and The Joker.

Joker: Uhh, you... you just couldn't let me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You trully are incorruptible, aren't you? You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness, and I won't kill you because you're just too much fun! I think you and I are destined to do this forever.

Batman
: You'll be in a padded cell forever!

Joker
: Maybe we could share one! You know, they'll be doubling up at the rate this city's inhabitants are losing their minds.

Batman
: This city just showed you that it's full of people ready to believe in good.

Joker
: Until their spirit breaks completely! Until they get a good look at the real Harvey Dent, and the all heroic things he's done. You didn't think I'd risk losing the battle for Gotham's soul in a fist fight with you? No... You need an ace in the hole. Mine's Harvey.

Batman: [horrified] What did you do?

Joker: I took Gotham's White Knight, and brought him down to our level. It wasn't hard. See, madness, as you know, is like gravity: all it takes is a little push! [laughs hysterically]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another of my favorites, I guess it counts as a comic book movie moment is this dialogue in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

Raphael: Where's Splinter.

Shredder
: Ah, the rat! So it has a name! ...It HAD a name.

Leonardo: You lie!!

Shredder
: Do I?

Hmmmmm

Hulk - When he drags the top of the tank and uses it to smash the other tank. My head almost exploded from the awesomeness of what I'd just witnessed.

Superman - Lifting the Andreas Fault, JorEls commentary to Superman at the fortress - revealing his true identity to him (just beautifully done with amazing dialogue)

Batman Begins - "They scream and they cry!!!", Scarecrow hallucinating Batman, Arkham Island crowd hallucinating Batman.

X-Men2 - Opening Nightcrawler bamfing scene.

X-Men The Last Stand - Every scene w/ Beast. Juggernaut running through the military and crashing through the wall, Magneto lifting the bridge

The Dark Knight - Final scene with Joker, Conclusion with TwoFace, Tumbler ramming into the dump truck

Iron Man - First appearance of the primitive armor

Iron Man 2 - Any scene with Scarlett in costume

Watchmen - Deleted Raging Bull homage scene(this NEVER should have been cut), Rorshach & NightOwl bar scene, every scene with The Comedian, Doc M "Im tired of earth, these people..." (DM has alot of good scenes)

Spiderman 2 - Train fight scene, Lifting the wall

Spiderman - Bridge scene

KickAss - Big Daddy taking on the guys in the warehouse scene

Wolverine - Deadpool blasting Sabertooth w/ optic blasts on top of the smokestack (Just really cool and nicely done. The single greatest moment in the film.)
