The best vengeance & or revenge scene

Alot of action movies has this type of scene where the main good guy meets up with the main bad guy in the middle of the movie & swears vengeance & or revenge. My pick goes to Gladiator's scene when Maximus & group beats the first round & then the emperor with his nephew goes into the arena & demands that Maximus tells him his name & when he does the emperor is just freaked the ****ed out

I'm not really a fan of the trailer fight in KillBill.2, the fight was good, but it did'nt grab me at all really, with both films being entire revenge pieces, it just diluted the emotion for me.

That said, vengeange scenes are always my favourite, there's a deep, burning, adrenaline pumped satisfaction to a well done revenge scene.

I can't really think of any across the board, but the Gladiator one rocks, as does one of my personal favourites, Tom Jane's The Punisher:

Awesome, now THAT is hatred, not even killing them yourself, but tricking him into it is ten times worse.

The dude slits random citizens throats and then bakes them into meat pies and feeds them to MORE random citizens ALL while planning on getting his revenge. Which he does get. But he ends up owning himself in the process. But still. Yeah.

I would say the scenes between The Bride and Bill in Kill Bill: Vol 2 are the best parts of both movies. Its a testement to David Carradine that even though he's done these horrible things, you still like him.
