The best voice acting cast EVER assembled for a X-men show

For now I'm going with the IMDB page since it accurately reported a lot of the voices first, including after the first trailer. Not sure if Storm's voice was in there which could confirm it.

I agree, and storm's voice actress just got added(I've been kinda checking the page everyday) :hehe:

Edit: or do you mean in the trailer?

I like how the voice cast for this show is turing out...Can`t wait till we can watch it.

If Hayter comes back as Cap I'd love it if he threw a bit, just a bit, of the Solid Snake growl in the voice

Wolverine doesn't sound very badass, but then I don't think husky roles are really Steve Blum's strong point.

Well youtube his clips from X-men Legends 1 and 2 and Ultimate Alliance and tell me what you think.

I agree, to some extent. Storm's voice was VERY annoying at times. But I LOVED Rogue's voice.

The second actress who did Storm was somewhat annoying, but the first one(did the first season and a few episodes of the second, and oddly enough Secret Wars in Spider-Man) was absolutely perfect. I hate that they had the second one go back and re-record Storm's lines from the first season; she just ruined them!

-Scott McNeil, X-men: Evolution . . . "Recycle that for me, will ya bub," GREEN-FRIENDLY WOLVERINE!

Honestly, aside from the movies, this show is what made me realize that wolverine just wasnt badass anymore.

That's a joke. You have no sense of humour.

Besides I'm Canadian and I judge it not Canadian enough. He didn''t say "eh" once during those games! :woot::oldrazz:

Now that Blum is coming back for The Hulk vs. Wolverine. This pretty solidly establishes him as the current staple voice for the character in animation and videogames.

I did get to talk to Blum about playing the character briefly at Anime Expo. He said he was pretty much sworn to secrecy on everything, but he says that the animation for Hulk vs. Wolverine looks fantastic. He also said its a great honor to play the character, and for Wolverine he pushes the interpretation of being someone that can heal every part of himself except his soul. I'm very excited that Blum is playing this character now in animation.

That was random. There was nothing wrong with his Vincent Valentine that I noticed. He did a good job of matching the character from the Japanese voice.

Also, are you going to just say one thing that you think is crappy and feel that goes against the rest of the amazing credits he's had over the last 10 years?

I saw the pilot of the series and Hulk vs. Wolverine. Blum nails it. He's now THE voice of Wolverine.

No, not really. Japanese Vincent has a smooth and emotionally detached voice. Blum made him sound too husky, and his voice just didn't work.

Hey, I think he's a good voice actor. I'm just not impressed by his gruffy voice acting. I don't think he has the voice for it.

That's all well and good, but having heard Vincent in Japanese many times, he doesn't sound that smooth.

And if you don't think he can do it, I would probably not watch the series.

I know that in the 90's Cal Dodd (The Kevin Conroy of Marvel Animation), did all the voice work for Wolverine, whatever the project...

then came Scott Mac Neill for X-men Evolution...

And now Steven Blum has come along and is doing all voice work for the Wolverine character (which hes very good at)...

So why wasn't Scott mac Neill kept for all wolverine based project?

Scott McNeill is Canadian and most of his voice over work is based out of Canada or for the Ocean group.

Sometimes he'll do out of town projects though like Fullmetal Alchemist.

scott mcneill nails wolverine, he nails any kinda anti-hero. I bet he is actually a professional anti-hero (or an anti professional anti hero).

Scott McNeill is a crazy Australian. His time as Wolverine though is now over.

In your opinion, the fact is there have been quite few voices for Logan before he came along.

Plus Canadians do better canadian accents then Americans! :oldrazz::woot:

Craig Kyle, Chris Yost, and many others agree with me :p .

And also he is now their go to voice for the character. He's doing the voice in the ongoing series, the games, and now the animated movies. That pretty much makes him the regular voice of the character.

Dodd, McNeill, and Mark Hammill all did good Wolverines, no question.

Blum still isn't Canadian enough to voice Wolvie, he's never even drank a Molson!:cmad::woot::cwink::oldrazz:
