Animax has launched a webpage their upcoming X-Men anime television series from MADHOUSE. With the launching of the X-Men Anime website, the network also released the latest trailer for the popular Marvel title.

The X-Men Anime series is set to premiere on April 1. The X-Men Anime series will be shown in the US via G4 together with Animax’s Iron Man, Wolverine and Blade anime series.

So stoked!!!

Woah this looks amazing!

Animation looks really nice. I like that it seems to have more focus on Cyclops.

maybe we'll FINALLY get a kick ass rendition of Scott, instead of these whiney versions.

I'm not been a X-fan for awhile, but that was a pretty catching trailer. The animation looked like a nice middle ground, too, though I'm sure those people who just instantly reject anything that looks vaguely Japanese will get some pepper in the air anyway.

It's looks pretty awesome. So far only Scott has that pretty boyish look that Japanese anime are known for. I really hope it's more Scott centered and that Wolverine gets a backseat.

Looks amazing. I'll be checking it out.

Not too much longer til this comes on. Really looking forward to this. I've wanted an X-Men anime show ever since the closing credits of the X-Men series in the 90's.

This animation looks pretty solid, and I'm sure the action is going to be top notch.:hrt:

I'm glad they changed the Wolverine design and didn't go with what they did in his series. The mullet and Elvis style porkchop sideburns wasn't cutting it.

I actually kinda hated all the old Marvel animated series from when I was a kid, including X-men. And I know a lot of people loved them, well apparently, but even as a kid I couldn't ignore how poor the animation was and how terrible the censoring was (in terms of it was so flamboyant it got in the way of everything). Especially the spiderman series with its laser guns and... 'mercy bullets' *shudder* so here's hoping an anime will correct both of those problems. However, since anime is such a dying industry so much animation is outsourced now this will probably be filled with QUALITY.

Will these shows be on the official websites or something ? I dont get G4 anymore :(

Wow, it's really awesome!

I've been waiting for an X-men anime ever since I first got into anime in the early 90's.

So the animes started airing on G4 recently ?

I'm really looking foward to this & the other Marvel/Madhouse Anime being released on DVD/Blu-ray in the states eventually.

Hi, does anybody knows where and when this anime is broadcasted ?

Thanks to answer

4 Episodes have been subbed already. Watching Episode 1.

Heh, the anime starts with a surprisingly similar theme as Wolverine and the X-Men. With Jean dead and the X-Men disbanded. Scott took it the worst and it requires some of his former members, including Wolverine to get him back on the team.

Now the thing it does better than Wolverine and the X-Men, effin' Wolverine isn't the main star and Scott gets over his issues faster after he realizes he has to man up when he wants Jean's dream of humans and mutants understanding one another come true.

I've just finished ep 2, and I have to say this series rocks! As a huge anime fan, I love the kinect energy that Japanimation has during the action scenes, and this show makes the mutant powers exciting to watch. My only gripe so far is that Storm seems to be exhausted quite easily when channeling her powers, but I guess that's the way of reining her in since power-wise she is #1, after the demise of Jean. I wish they would've included more X-Men though; I think Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Gambit would've been great addition to the team.

Storm really doesnt get that much to do and is probably to sweet and this new interpratation of Emma but other than that I am loving it to. Though I do hope if they do another season, they open it up more to the X-men universe introducing other members.

I checked the start of episode 1 and saw Dark Phoenix, stopped caring then
Yeah, her tale annoys me, a show saying she's so involved as that is something I don't care for

Give the series a chance. About Jean...

She dies in the first Episode and hasn't been seen or heard of since. It's not even suggested that she could still be alive.

OK, I'll watch more of it
I hope things stay that way

You can at least watch the 6 Episodes that have been aired so far without any worries. And the preview for Episode 7 also doesn't show that anything will change.
