it's not what it was a hundred years ago... considering it was the first real theme park in america..
but with gentrification.... it'll improve in the next few years... they still need to clean the ocean for it to be close to anything resembling a theme park.
Side note - there's this private community by coney island with multimillion dollar condos... so secluded you can't access it unless you live there.
As someone that's always wanted to go, would it be a fun little trip for me and the girl I'm seeing? Neither of us have been, nor have a real clear idea of what to expect.
What's the atmosphere like in general, regardless of the rides? I'm kind of hoping she's not super into roller coasters, since I hate them, though I will pretend to enjoy them if I have to.
