Damn, I really posted that much?

I doubt I've ever written anything productive in this thread.

two questions .. wheres equint!??

and why the heck isnt there a city of angels thread:oldrazz:

Equint decided he doesn't want to be a part of hype right now because it's sucky. He'll be back.

why the hell not?? personal issues?

do you speak to him?? tell him the knicks arent that bad and to get his A** back here!

His aim sn is in his profile.

And yay! It's Nick Gregory's anniversary.:)

Here's a great play you guys should check out. I saw it over the summer,it was so good it's been moved to broadway. I'll be coming back up to see it again.

SPRING AWAKENING takes its inspiration from one of literature’s most controversial masterpieces – a work so daring in its depiction of teenage self-discovery, it was banned from the stage and not performed in its complete form in English for nearly 100 years.

It’s Germany, 1891. A world where the grown-ups hold all the cards. The beautiful young Wendla explores the mysteries of her body, and wonders aloud where babies come from, till Mama tells her to shut it, and put on a proper dress.

Elsewhere, the brilliant and fearless young Melchior interrupts a mind-numbing Latin drill to defend his buddy Moritz – a boy so traumatized by puberty he can’t concentrate on anything. Not that the Headmaster cares. He strikes them both and tells them to turn in their lesson.

One afternoon – in a private place in the woods – Melchior and Wendla meet by accident, and soon find within themselves a desire unlike anything they’ve ever felt.

As they fumble their way into one another’s arms, Moritz flounders and soon fails out of school. When even his one adult friend, Melchior’s mother, ignores his plea for help, he is left so distraught he can’t hear the promise of life offered by his outcast friend Ilse.

Naturally, the Headmasters waste no time in pinning the “crime” of Moritz’s suicide on Melchior and expel him. And soon Mama learns her little Wendla is pregnant. Now the young lovers must struggle against all odds to build a world together for their child.

Some awkward moments of sex, nudity and *********ion,I'm glad I was late and didn't get seated on the stage with the actors. :O

Sprng Awakening sounds... interesting, but not exactly my kind of play.

I really, really need to see Les Mis :(.

Dark, yes. Filled with nudity and sexually-themed plots, not so much.

A quite amazing exhibit at the Met called Glitter and Doom. Saw some very interesting works; a large selection from Otto Dix. I'd say it's worth checking out.

Nah, I didn't go. It's a bit out of my way and I wasn't too big fan of the man.

I must not be as cultured as I like to think... I saw the MoMA and the Met... I was bored to death with both of them. Except the Met's Ancient Egyptian and Sword exhibit. Those were awesome. Of course, I was terribly anxious to meet a certain someone... who ended up going to the wrong museum :(.

The unique exhibits are always much better than the general exhibits (although the medieval armor and weaponry is a must see every time I go). I really only go to see exhibits that I'd know I'd find enjoyment in (such as the Drawings of Rubens and Drawings of van Gogh exhibits).

Museusm aren't for everyone. Hell, I don't like the Met alone because of it's location.

I'd like to see MoMA at some point

The new MoMA is spectacular and worth the visit. If you have a CUNY ID (or can fake one) you can get in for free. If not, it's still worth the money.
