It's Arm day today

PS: What kind of split are you on? I used to be on a 3-day split (3 on 1 off), but now i'm on a 5-day split (5 on 2 off). I'm thinkin about going back to the 3-day.

3-Day Split. Mostly because I have limited time and I'm older now and take longer to recover than I used to be. If I was still in my twenties, I'd be training 5 days a week. I ran a chest/bi's, legs/shoulders, back/tri's config for quite awhile, but just recently switched back to a more traditional chest/tri's, legs/shoulders, back/bi's config. Check the Over 35 Journal section and you can get more info on what I'm doing.

Will do.

So I guess I should stick with my 5-day split (legs, chest, shoulders, back, arms)?

Depends on your recovery times and how it's working for you. Sometimes, all it takes is some periodization (adjusting your weight so it will allow you to run the same routine with a 3x6, 3x8, 6x3, 4x10, 5x5 or some other configuration) so that your muscles stay challenged and don't "learn" your routine. Other times, it takes moving to something entirely different or giving your body more rest than it's been getting. Everyone's different and responds to different things. If your routine was working well for you in the past but has gotten stagnant, lately, try some periodization with it and see if that helps.

I'll most likely stick with this routine for 1-2 more weeks, then switch it up.

Above all it just sucks not having a spotter. I can never push myself all the way.

That's why I own a Power-Cage with spotter bars.

The one that was trapped in a wall in a grocery store or something

It took them 14 days to get that damn cat out, because "the building is a landmark and they can't dismantle parts of it to get the cat out".

I'm sure the owner will make sure not to let the cat out again after that.

And now I completely waste another beautiful day indoors.

today was a nice day.... hoe's a'plenty outside........

Today is an equally nice day, and a bit cooler. Only indoors because I have too much work to do.

Damn artwork getting in the way of everything...

Well I hope you get electrocuted.:)

And I hope you never have cable again.

These past few days have been ****ed up weather wise. The rest of the week is not looking much better either.

At least it stopped raining today and I was able to have a few windows open.

weather was a little schizo today.Or rather,it was dissociative.

The 20 minutes it took me to get home from class today was ****ed up. It started of cloudy, then rainy, and them ended with a bright, shiney sky.

And my sculpture broke during that time, making me sad. Now I have to do a repair job on Model Magic. I hate that ****.

Not really. The students I observed were pretty good and the blue's performance I saw in lieu of class was quite entertaining and relaxing. Guy Davis is a talented artist, if I do say so.

Plus before the sculpture broke, the lesson I based off of it seemed to please the teacher.

Now, I need to get a various artist Best of Blues cd if I ever decide to make last week's and today's exercises into an actual lesson.
