There just seems no good reason to do a post-credit scene like that. i mean presumably, the ending would close off the Multiverse right? presumably. so why would he show up in a post-credit scene? that almost seems more meta-joke towards the fact that Raimi is making the movie.

it would certainly be neat if they kept the multiverse open but i find myself doubting Marvel will be that bold.

Who says the multiverse will end with this movie? Doctor Strange 2 comes out AFTER this one, so the multiverse issues won't be resolved yet.

I thought we was talking about a Dr Strange 2 post credit scene.

You would be right throwing him in post credits for DS2 wouldn't make much sense. But if he ends up in DS2, putting him in the NWH post credits would make a ton of sense

Sorry for the double-post, but reposting this here:

Hes totally in it. It couldnt be more obvious. Good performance though.

Considering that Babylon got delayed, I don't think we're getting any type of interview with Tobey for that question to be thrown at him. The first time he'll comment on No Way Home will probably be after he's officially announced to return with Andrew Garfield.

I'm curious what changes will be made to Maguires suit or if it'll look practically the same 14 years later

Josh Horowitz's response to Andrew Garfield's reply in their interview regarding him being in NWH or not.

I was watching John Campea and Robert Meyer Burnett’s commentary of this interview today and theyre taking Andrew at face value and Campea said, “Dont you think if Andrew and Tobey were onset for any significant amount of time in this movie that the Hollywood Reporter or Variety would have picked this up?” Which was shocking to hear from knowledgeable guys like him and Burnett who’ve been in the industry. Of COURSE Hollywood Reporter and Variety and whatnot probably know about it. They probably all got a call from Marvel and Sony a long time ago saying, “ guys, please whatever you do, do not spoil these two’s involvement in this movie.”

These publications get fed stories and leaks directly from the studios and they dont wanna damage these relationships with the studios. I dont think these publications necessarily publish every juicy story they know, they get permission.

I have a feeling Andrew will have a big role in this.

The fact that his Spider-Man was so prominently displayed on the official crew shirt, is very telling.

John Campea just don't got it anymore like he used to lol.

I mean, the most prominent Spider-Man there is the Japanese TV show, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

That's... a very weird argument to make.

Mike Murdock's. If I was responding to you, I would have quoted you lol.

If Garfield has gone back to the ASM costume rather than ASM2, what would be the in-universe explanation for that? Or maybe they won't explain it at all but simply use it because it's distinct from the other Spidey costumes.

I hope Andrew's Spidey wears the TASM2 costume. The first one was ugly imo, and the second one is my personal favorite one since the Raimi films

Although it is much better, it might look too good next to Holland's one in particular. It doesn't have raised webbing like the Raimi one but the webbing stands out much more than Holland's. And apart from the eyes, it looks the most comic accurate and classic of the three actors. And even the eyes can be an artistic choice because other artists have drawn Spidey with those kinds of eyes.

They might go with the ASM1 suit because it's more distinct from the others and would be easier to tell him apart from them during a big action scene whereas with the ASM2 suit it could look more similar especially in a fast moving scene.
