The last few names have all had movies with lead roles and sucked in them. Walker, Lutz, and Hemsworth are charisma vacuums.

I think people might want to let go of Shazam having the comic book body type and maybe let him be different with a slim body.

I think a large part of the success of this movie will be in having it look nothing like Snyder's MOS/BvS.

I thought he was pretty bad in at least the first half of the movie, though he improved as it went on. He was good in In the Heart of the Sea though and he's supposedly brilliant in American Psycho the musical (and from the clips I've seen of it, he's got the physique to play Shazam) so I'd be alright with him in the role.

Gambit has two cast members, and it's been delayed indefinitely. Fox already has New Mutants, X Force, Wolverine solos, Deadpool, X-Men, and an upcoming TV show. Come on WB get Tatum for Shazam.

Poor Armie Hammer is like box office kryptonite. Maybe it's just bad luck but movies he star in make sundance film money... without the critical acclaim. I think the universe wants him to do television.

I think Armie is the best choice as he does have the boyish face and energy while also having a physique that when trained even more, as he is already pretty fit, would let him stand toe to toe with the rock.

If Armie was cast it would be similar to their bathroom fight in u.n.c.l.e. where they are just destroying that bathroom, however I would want them to work together as Billy should look up to Superman. Now a great way to bring in the clash fight visual aesthetic could be to put Black Adam in Superman's place. I also wouldn't mind a brief appearance from Henry Cavil/Superman near the end so they could tag team Black Adam similar to this.
