Infinity War The Black Order

One thing I've seen people saying is that the Black Order are actually Thanos' biological children, but I never had that impression. Gamora and Nebula both refer to themselves as 'daughters of Thanos' but they're not actually his children, he killed their respective families (and even her whole race in Gamora's case) and then effectively kidnapped them and raised them as living weapons. I imagine it will be the same for the members of the Black Order, and potentially more of 'the children of Thanos' that may appear.

As I said earlier, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor is an actor, not a stuntman.

I must have been thinking about two things at the same time and somehow mixed them together as what I was supposed to say was mo-cap actor (as I'm well aware of that stuntmen aren't doing mo-cap acting). The point remained intact though, as it was that their physical bits should already have been shot.

Haven't Thanos' children already been shot with stuntmen? Corvus Glaive has for sure and I can't imagine the others being different.

I think you're correct. She has a Marvel role but probably not in Infinity War

Agreed

Because we saw a few pictures with stunt men?

What are people thinking here? Stunt men with voice actors?

Eh. It's not like they are the Chitauri

Yeah. I didn't realise people were saying they were his actual children. No need for that IMO.

Nah, Thanos totally got it on with Mama Black Dwarf. That's gonna be my headcanon until proven otherwise.

I would hope Proxima is not Drax's daughter. Isn't Moondragon meant to be that?

Whoever said that is wrong. The D23 promo material, they clearly state that they are Thonos' children in the same regard as what Gamora and Nebula are.

I've never seen it. I'd bet Thanos doesn't have real offspring.

He's got a fake family.

Gamora
Nebula
Corvus
Proxima
Ebony
Cull (?)

Remember when Nebula referenced the rest of them?

It's very clear they're strictly beholden to the comics where the Guardians are concerned.

This is based on nothing, though. It's literally an article of "hey, I just had this idea." CBR is too big of a site to get away with crap like that.

Such nice weapons they have.

Tom's great actor, absolute chameleon. Great to see him getting such a break, hopefully he has a good show in IW and it leads to other big roles. He was just on an Irish talk show tonight and was asked about this film, of course "can't say anything" was his reply.

Yeah I've heard very good things about Love/Hate.

Wonder if that art above is from before or after the reveal at D23?

I know we got the pic fairly recently, but I mean if it was early concepts etc.

My dream casting for Proxima Midnight is Carrie Coon, wouldnt that be crazy

Proximal feels like she should be done pracrically, Ott would be kind of weird if they are all digital creations and then there's nebula and gamora being practical. The others I get.

Love those designs above. Can't wait to see these guys in action in the trailer.

I wonder how powerful they are going to be individually. I'm expecting them to eventually get defeated but will be interesting to see what combination of heroes it takes.
