Ruckus' Katrina rant at the end was jokes
His character was tight...I wanted more of him, he reminds me of my homie from the 504.Lil Wayne's character was annoying as hell. The episode as a whole was awesome.![]()
Season 2 has been weak. While the intent of entertainment is there, it's been missing the voice of Huey Freeman. Not only is he the icon and front runner of the series, he's the social conscience that helps the more ignorant audience members recognize the satirical nature of the show. Without him, the political undertones are all but lost, leaving the jokes flat and long winded.
After a fantastic season one, this season's like going to heaven and findin' out God's smokin crack.
I do give props to the wolf ***** episode, though. That was funny. I just don't think there is enough thinking intermingled with laughing. While I realize that the genius of "the story of gangastalicous" will probably never be topped again, I'd still like some attempts at more social commentary. He had me a bit in the opening ep when they showed soul plane two, but it degraded to the exciting parts of the "let's nab oprah episode." While those parts are cool, it's like too much of a good thing.Whilst I disagree with you that this season has been weak i actually think its been better than the first. I do agree that its missing the voice of huey!

Huey goes on a hunger strike in a boycott of BET, and receives some high-profile support.
