As good as that one is in Avengers, nothing will beat that one in Children of Men. God that film is so good.
For me, I see:
Brad Bird for Flash
Alfonso Cuaron or Darren Aronosky for Batman
Neill Blomkamp for Green Lantern sequel
Duncan Jones for Wonder Woman
I still think a Fincher Batman film would be pretty damn awesome to see.
It's giving me hot flashes just thinking about itImagine epic 20 minute tracking shots in a comic book film.

A Fincher Bat film would give us the visually richest comic book film ever. Fincher is to genre filmmaking as Whedon is to genre writing. All shot in glorious HD. I wonder what the pro-Nolan 35mm film enthusiasts would think about that.
Those tracking shots in Children of Men are glorious but as a movie it's overrated.
When it comes to the next Batman I would love if they dared to go a bit "brighter" again. Maybe make a great Batman and Robin action-adventure film, Brad Bird?
I could literally cry over reading thisThose tracking shots in Children of Men are glorious but as a movie it's overrated.
How is Children of Men overrated?
What I love about Children of men is that it gives a big FU to exposition and only lets its visuals fill in the blank. Even on my tenth viewing I noticed something new in the background I didn't know existed before.
