Tears that Nolan isn't going to make anymore Batman movies for them.

Well its true. What the hell does WB have now to fall back on for their moneymakers? Potter is done, Batman is about to be done. They've completely stalled their DC universe with that terrible Green Lantern movie. Luckily the Hobbit movies are coming out and they're praying that Man of Steel can deliver.

They should picked up on Bond when it was close to being distributor-less.

Well I'm almost certain that Man Of Steel will deliver. Almost (It's Snyder's move at this point). But I'm not so sure - eh screw it - I think it's fairly unlikely that it'll fill the hole that Nolan's left.

I have faith in the Man of Steel project because it has to succeed. Snyder has a keen artistic eye for action sequences and visuals/SFX, Goyer is great idea man and The Nolans are proven writers. On top of that, the casting was done quite well.

MoS has too much going for it to fail.

Hopefully, WB will finally green-light The Flash later this year.

Yes, yes, and f*** yes.

I'm really hoping they place a younger director on that project like Rupert Wyatt, Duncan Jones, or even Nicolas Winding Refn.

Let's see -

Nolan's Batman trilogy...Done.

Harry Potter Movies.....Done.

Terminator Franchise....Failed.

Green lantern ............Failed.

Coming soon -

Hobbit Franchise.......Likely to get Success.

Man of Steel............Likely to get Moderate Success.

Sequel to 300.........Likely to get Moderate success.

Wrath Of Titans Sequel....May get cancelled.

So, not much to look forward to, in terms of earning mega bucks.

My list would be Brad Bird, Josh Trank, Duncan Jones and Neill Blomkamp.

A Brad Bird "Flash" film would be just. . .

Sign me up right now.

Also Josh Trank's work on "Chronicle" also impressed the hell out of me. Neill Blomkamp awesome as well.

:lmao:

I love that gif and meme.

Definitely. If I were WB, I'd get on signing these directors as fast as possible for their DC properties.

Edit: Replace Josh Trank with Alfonso Cuaron. I forgot Trank is already working on a DC property.

That gif is sublime.

Brad Bird for Flash would be great. Heck, Brad Bird for ANY CBM would be a huge win.

My strategy -

Get a team of Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, Grant Morrison and Geoff johns as creative consultants to oversee scripts for DC properties.

Get -

Brad Bird for Flash

Nicolas Winding Refn. for Wonder Woman

Alfonso Cuaron for Batman restart.

Neill Blomkamp / Duncan jones for Green Lantern reboot.

For me, I see:

Brad Bird for Flash

Alfonso Cuaron or Darren Aronosky for Batman

Neill Blomkamp for Green Lantern sequel

Duncan Jones for Wonder Woman

I like Refn but I am not certain he is the right man for the job. Jones at least has experience in the Sci-Fi genre.

As pathetic as this sounds, I am seriously tempted to write a passionate letter to WB essentially begging them to strongly consider Cuaron for the next Batman film.

Knowing my luck, they would then go on to sign Michael Bay :o.

Cuaron for Batman is as perfect as Whedon for Avengers!

We should march on WB's studio with big signs saying Cuaron on them.

Bay has already killed two franchises. I would rather die than see a Michael Bay Batman film.
