And these people. . .cried? Tears of joy I hope?
Tears that Nolan isn't going to make anymore Batman movies for them.

The Rock. Oh how I wish he could make such a movie again.

Well its true. What the hell does WB have now to fall back on for their moneymakers? Potter is done, Batman is about to be done. They've completely stalled their DC universe with that terrible Green Lantern movie. Luckily the Hobbit movies are coming out and they're praying that Man of Steel can deliver.
Hopefully, WB will finally green-light The Flash later this year.

Yes, yes, and f*** yes.
I'm really hoping they place a younger director on that project like Rupert Wyatt, Duncan Jones, or even Nicolas Winding Refn.
My list would be Brad Bird, Josh Trank, Duncan Jones and Neill Blomkamp.
A Brad Bird "Flash" film would be just. . .

Sign me up right now.
Also Josh Trank's work on "Chronicle" also impressed the hell out of me. Neill Blomkamp awesome as well.
As pathetic as this sounds, I am seriously tempted to write a passionate letter to WB essentially begging them to strongly consider Cuaron for the next Batman film.
Knowing my luck, they would then go on to sign Michael Bay.
Don't say it as though it's fact then.
And your opinion is in the very small and ultimately unimportant minority. Give credit where credit is due you silly little Bat fanatics.
