A famous magician claimed to be able to throw a ping-pong ball so that it would go a short distance, come to a stop, then reverse itself. He added that he would not bounce it against any object (like a wall), or tie anything to it (sort of like a yo-yo). How can he perform this feat?
He put a piece of metal in it and used a magnet

He threw it up in the air.

Mrs Jones is lying dead on a bed, and on the floor beside it is a pair of scissors. The scissors were instrumental in her death, yet there is no trace of blood. Her body reveals no signs of any cuts or bruises. How could she have been murdered with the scissors?
Is she on a bunk bed or a waterbed?

#60 - and my last one tonight..
Little Suzie is afraid of monsters hiding under her bed. She usually runs from her bedroom door and leaps onto the bed so the monsters can't get her. Even though her bed is 12 feet from the door - and the light switch - she manages to turn off her light and jump into bed before her room is dark. Since she doesn't use any device to flip the light switch, how is she able to accomplish this remarkable feat?

She goes to bed while it's still light outside?

Riddle #61:
A surgeon in a field hospital is almost out of supplies. Three wounded soldiers are brought in. But the surgeon only has two pairs of surgical gloves left.

The soldiers cannot wait for the supply truck. But the surgeon cannot come in contact with any of the soldier's blood, nor can she let them come into contact with each other's blood.

How can the surgeon operate on three soldiers with only two pairs of gloves.

The only thing I can think of is this....

She has two pair, meaning 4 gloves.

She first operates with only her right hand, using her left for tasks that won't come in contact with blood. Does surgery

Moves left glove to right hand, puts new glove on left. Does surgery.

Moves left glove to right hand, puts on the last clean glove on left. Does surgery.

No. Rarely can you do anything in surgery that requires one hand.

For the first operation, wear pair 1, then take them off. For the second operation, put on pair 2. Then, without taking off pair 2, turn pair 1 inside out, put them over pair 2, and do the third operation.

Borrow a pair from one of the other surgeons.

That's pretty much it.
