I'm currently re-reading Hush, and while the characterizations and writing are decent at best (it's pretty much a showcase of the then status quo and Bat-world for new readers), but still fun, I was thinking that Jim Lee's artwork would not be a bad inspiration for the DCU Batman's production design and cinematography.
It's modern, slick, more of a "pop version" than Matt Reeves' take, yet still pretty atmospheric.
The Andy Kubert art from Grant Morrison's run has a similar high tech pop "neon-noir" feel.
