He pretty much said it was a mess not that it was bad. Not a big issue really.

I like his brutal honesty. He's not afraid to say the movie deserved the bad reviews. Refreshing to see an actor call a spade a spade, and not white wash it.

An honestly which escaped him during the promotion of the film. :o

Look it's Jeremy Irons, he doesn't need the money or the role (in truth) but I think if you are actively engaged with a franchise, its probably better to present a united front.

When you're done, say what you want :o (ala Sally Field). I happen to agree with everything he said, I'm just thinking out loud.

He didn't have to - anyone should be able to see that he clearly doesn't have a very high opinion of the film, and therein lies the entire issue.

That's not "the entire issue" for me at all. I haven't attempted to deny, dispute, sugar coat, or twist his words. I know what he said and I know what he meant.

If this, in your criteria, does not qualify as "speaking out against" then that's all well and good. But when you indirectly state in a public forum that the movie you just starred in was bad, don't be surprised that others are going to find that a fairly appropriate label.

Since this is a fairly hyperbolic way of describing Irons' comments in this particular instance relating to BvS, I'm not at all surprised that some folks here enjoying using this kind of terminology.

Not that it matters to you or anyone else, but a quick Google search of "people speaking out against" or "speaking out in favor of" would reveal the types of instances and situations in which these phrases are most commonly and appropriately used.

Oh man, I don't have patience and I am watching the bootlegs videos on Youtube.

The Martha scene and Battle climax gets me everytime and reading the comments I realize there are so many who feel the same way as me during those scenes.

Can't wait to see them in full resolution and color.

Don't know if I should buy the 4K version even though I don't have a 4K tv yet.

It might have looked good on paper, a lot of bad things do, but when he saw the final product, it was a mish mash of a mess.

That's why I respect him even more. He's still involved in the franchise but isn't afraid to say what he really thinks. Calling a spade a spade. More power to him.

It isn't, but if that helps cushion the impact of Iron's recent comments, then believe what you'd like.

There is no impact that needs to be cushioned, but I appreciate the fact that you are speaking out in favor of people believing whatever they like.

Does someone here buy movies on the Microsoft movies and tv app? I'll like to know if they have an option to change subtitles or other another language.

Indeed, it's difficult to be patient, but I'm looking forward to watching it again and catching some finer details. Plus, my wife wasn't able to make either showing that I attended. I'll be relieved to finally talk with her about the film because she adamantly forbade spoilers.

And she managed to keep spoiler free until now?

And she managed to keep spoiler free until now?

Yes, she's managed to mostly stay in the dark. She has overheard some pieces of conversations between my daughters and I about Wonder Woman (they liked her, whereas I was severely disappointed), but that's all. I'm looking forward to getting the UC bright and early on the day it's released and getting her take on the film.

I almost did the same, for the same reason, but be careful, the cover on Amazon says that the extended cut is on 4K and Digital HD but ONLY the theatrical is on Blu-ray

Damn reviewers have ruined the Trinity shot for me. :waa: Superman stands in the background looking like he has nothing to do (at least make his eyes glow red).

A technical question guys: Do you need a special 4k player to watch the 4k version? Or is it just like the Fury and Chappie BR that are mastered at 4k?

What is the res for the digital HD?
Is it the same as blue ray?
