I like Laurel but honestly when, not if Sara gets killed it's gonna suck. They gave us the perfect, most badass Black Canary, only for her to be taken away from us and replaced by an inferior character.

If Laurel takes over for Sara she'll be known as Lack Canary.

Sara already went through all the trials and tribulations to become the Black Canary everyone knows and loves. Laurel didn't remotely experience half the pain, and would still have to go through a number of years of training, to be where Sara is right now.

Even if Laurel started to train this very moment, they would need to spend at least 2 seasons, for me to buy that she can take Sara's place.

I checked a few. Can't find this particular shot. It has to exist though, because someone photoshopped a promo of this and arrow together and it was a pretty high res photo.

No clue.

But if that is what happens it really flies in the face of what has been said about the show from cast and crew.

-They really like actors that can do their own stunts
-They listen to their fans

Problem is she is a great stunt person who isn't the best actress. Basically she makes a great Black Canary, not so great Sara Lance

On the subject of Sara Lance wasn't she brunette in the pilot. lol

I think Caity's doing a great job playing Sara. Much better than how Katie Cassidy plays Laurel.

Caity is doing a great job. Much like Amell, she can easily switch between three different sides of Sara: the pre-island Sara, the island/flashbacks Sara, and current Black Canary. And I hate to say this because I love Stephen Amell in the role, but she had this range from the very beginning. Amell was a bit wooden for the first few episodes.

It's also impressive since she went from backup dancer to Lady Gaga to acting.

She was a little shaky in the beginning but she's really grown into the role now.

It's amazing to me that they couldn't see how making a "Proto-Canary" was going to backfire on their original plan.I can't see them not sticking with Catiy Canary now.

To use a sports analogy,it's like Bill Belichick going with Tom Brady,even after Drew Bledsoe was ready to play for the play-offs.

Even if you hired someone at quarterback initially,you've got to play whoever gives you the best chance at winning the big game.
