So according to her recent interview, she hinted that she might return for Dark Phoenix when she could have said no. According to her, Fox told her to be vague if she gets asked about her role in the film. Sneaky Fox!

Also, Olivia will do her own cut of Apocalypse and will feature more of her fight scenes that didn't make the cut the first time! Yasss queen!

What do you mean by her own cut of Apocalypse? Is the movie getting an Extended version?

Man I hope that next year they release a X-Men Apocalypse Extended edition 3 hours movie with everything good that it got cut from the theater version.

Since the next chapter will be released next year, it would be a great idea to remember the fans about the x-men.

We dont know what her role will be though, it could go either way. I still feel this movie will be a two parter so who knows if her role is expanded right now. We have very little right now lol they are keeping it very much under wraps.

If she is back I hope they explore her telepathic abilities seeing that in the DP comic a psychic was a part of Jean's transition into DP or she's a part of Magneto's Acolytes sent to infiltrate the X-Men and "joins" the team or hopefully she is an X-Man at this point. Either way I'm sensing a X-Men/Acolytes team up when facing the Shi'ar.

I agree wholeheartedly however with the return of Fassbender and Lawerence characters they're going to be involved in the overall with Dark Phoenix, so we mind as well except that. However if it's done right that would be one hell of a battle and we never seen the X-Men and Magneto's crew team up yet. X2 slightly did but didn't deliver the action when they infiltrated Stryker's base.

in X1 it was just 4 X-Men trying to stop Magneto and save Rogue
in X2 they were separate, with Rogue and Iceman on the jet, and there wasnt a big battle.
in X3, Rogue and Cyclops were out of the equation and Angel only came to save his father
in Dofp future portion it was just half the original cast
in Apocalypse the X-men were split between X-Men and Horsemen
in Dark Phoenix, sounds like Angel, Psylocke and Jubilee wont be team members either, or wont be there at all

That's one only issue with this franchise like The Avengers movies have delivered. We get that team action, the personal established relationships and they can take own any threats. The X-Men characters don't feel like a "team" because only certain people get to shine while others are just backgrounds/CGI characters. My hope for this film is that we see those interpersonal relationships amongst the team, the X-Men as a team cutting loose, but working together (like in TAS/Evolution) and if Magneto/Mystique must be in this film I hope they're roles are reminiscent to Josh D and Tyrese in Transformers 3. They come in during the 3rd act and still get memorable scenes but they don't take from the main characters.

Im very excited we may have Psylocke again. She was one of the best things of Apocalypse.

Considering how she was handled in Apocalypse, with even her last scene having her look like a vengeful ***** who was unrepentant in what she tried to accomplish, I'd say she fits x-force better. Overall though I still don't want her as she would just be in to be in and then people will complain about that. Focus on your core team especially Jean and her relationship with not just Cyke and Prof. X but with the whole team. Give Mystque and Magneto interesting/cool fight scenes to justify the actors pay and then let em be background dressing.
