Movie is upto over $357 million WW according to The-numbers.com, it should surpass the WW gross of The Golden Compass, which ended up with just over $372 million.

It should easily surpass TGC, I think 500 million Worldwide may be where it ends up.

Saw it awhile ago. I was really dissapointed. Unfortunatley this is the film I REALLY wanted to see this summer along with The Dark Knight because of how much I liked the first one. It wasnt absolutley terrible but it could have been alot better.

No chance, its opened everywere it can now and has pretty much finished its run in the US, $400 million WW, MAYBE, thats about it.

I don't know if I want to get that 3 disc edition. I don't really like those digital copies anyway.

What is a digital copy any way I've seen it mentioned on a few other DVD releases?

I'll be waiting for the extended edition for this one as well, sorry I never got the EE of TLTWATW.

I don't think I'll be buying this unless it's under 10 dollars. I thought this movie was so boring.

If you thought it was so boring why would you buy it at all ?

^I thought the movie was pretty damn good, only thing I didnt like was the lack of Aslan screen time, though it was understandable for the point they tried to get accross.

Best character of the film was Reepicheep. Loved Eddie Izzard for him.

I saw it tonight, I thought it was pretty enjoyable, it didn't quite have the magical feel of 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' but it was better constructed and acted IMO plus the battles were more exciting, loved the finale with the big water guy! :D

7.5/10

I agree, I finally saw this a few weeks ago on a flight from London, and I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I thought it really improved on the book and the characters were better developed, and the action sequences were terrific. I can't wait to see the DVD so I can see it on a better screen.

My thoughts exactly HR, it did seem to miss the magic of the first movie, but after a few re-watches of PC I actually think that was intended. Narnia was a more savage place, as Trumpkin said, and the magic in the land was all but extinct, until Aslan ressurects it at the end, in a superb way. I think Aslan's lack of screentime was also a factor in the magic missing, and i still remain dissapointed in his short screen-time, but now, I understand a lot more. He is meant to be God afterall, and if no one believes in him, he cannot help, thats why Lucy eventually in fact was the saviour of Narnia, because she still believed.

Overall I do think PC is not only the better movie, but a superb sequel and the franchise as a whole is shaping up nicely, I do hope the 3rd movie gets made.

I bought it on BD and just watched it over the weekend.

Having missed it during its theatrical run, I must say...I was impressed. Though the first half was slow, it really picked up once the kids met up with Caspian and the Narnians. For me, this is when the movie really hit its stride.

Coming into it, I feared that the PG rating would tone down the fight scenes but I was wrong, they were pretty intense...not on the level of LOTR of course, but still very good. The kids were much improved from last time and I liked the chemistry and tension between Caspian and Peter, especially.

I gave LWW a 7/10 and for Caspian i'd say...a solid 8/10.

Much improved and I am really hoping they go on with a 3rd film in the series, I really want to see where they go with this 'saga'.

Though with Disney pulling out of "Dawn Treader" and FOX apparently picking up the slack...ugh. I can't even begin to fathom what will become of the Narnia series with FOX at the helm. :csad:

With Fox? Filmed in Toronto, and under 100 minutes, with last minute reshoots.

I rather enjoyed this movie...but then again I have read the books so I am partial. It was just a good movie that should never have been thrown into a crowded Summer:o Disney is dumb for dropping this as this is just a prime example of a good Winter/Christmas movie.

Yeah, I agree. Heck, I think they should of pushed it to this past holiday season...it would have made a killing at the box office considering December's films were lackluster compared to other years.

some of the Prince Caspian blu ray bonus features showed a quick shot of the pre viz for the sea dragon from Dawn Treader, it was like half a second, but it still got me excited

So, finally saw it. I thought the first one was boring. but this second one actually kept my interest. It was really entertaining. I liked it. Hope there's a third that keeps the edge.

The movie is ok, it felt long but I think it's because there were lots of boring parts.
