I feel that with Lex making metropolis not only his headquarters, but his home, his ego wouldn't allow metropolis to be anything but the best, biggest, and safest city in America.
So yes, I feel it SHOULD look somewhat futuristic.
Lots of green, lots of drones flying around, lots of skywalks, etc.

I want it to look like a real extra-modern city, just a little nicer than our cities tend to look. Not like, Space Age modern lol.

Maybe it’s more of a Batman/Gotham thing, but this image has me wanting to see blimps flying overheard in Metropolis.

I wasn't expecting an ultra-stylized city either way.

I think it will be like The Batman's Gotham, unique but still very much a "real life city".

For me if they get Metropolis to look like downtown Los Angeles, New York City/Manhattan or get it to look like downtown Toronto specifically in terms of aesthetic look then I'm all for it

I saw someone unironically claiming that you could see Supergirl in a reflection on the robot that Superman cradles in the teaser.

It’s weirdly reassuring to see that fandom hasn’t evolved since 2007.

I have no complaints about the Metropolis we got, but I wonder if Luthor’s shenanigans ****ing up a portion of the city and it being somewhat crudely stitched back together by Mr. Terrific leaves the door open for some technological assistance to leap forward into being the City of Tomorrow.
