The Company is really getting confusing. Of course we don't know who to believe about anything (though Bob might be able to be trusted in anything he's said around Matt). But the whole who is in the company, was in but quit, was in but got evil and the company is good, was in but hated the evil of the company so got out etc.

So far all we know for sure is the following:
1) Linderman and Mama Petrelli were working together in towards making the bomb happen
2) Thompson took orders from Linderman
3) Mama Petrelli and Deveaux met shortly before he died - and he disapproved of what she was planning (though how much he knew about the specific plan is in question)
4) Linderman owned Kirby Plaza where Thompson worked and Bennet had access to

However:
If Adam was the enemy of the company doing good, so they locked him up; and Linderman was his disciple, then how can Bennet have been working for the company if his orders came from Thompson whose orders came from Linderman? Particularly when the Haitian has been shown directly working for Bob and Thompson/Bennet? If Bob is in any way on the level about Adam and Linderman, or Adam is in any way manipulating Peter and was in fact locked up for being evil, then wouldnt either the Bob company or the Linderman/Thompson/Bennet company be a fake one? If so, which?

And a million other questions

May be that Adam isnt imprisoned at all, and was put there to befriend Peter so they could escape and use Peter (as the most powerful human being on the planet) for some additional destroy the world plan and that Bob is in league with Mama Petrelli, which would explain the links with Linderman related places and people.

Good topic. I am still on the fence as to whether or not Bob is actually "good" and Adam is actually "bad". I am still thinking they are in cohoots together. Too many coincidences and loop-holes.

First, the Company has Adam in capativity. I assume they are using his blood for research on the virus. But if Adam is as dangerous as Bob claims, then why not have the Haitian wipe out Adam's memory? This way Adam is less of a threat and can be used as a guinea pig.

Secondly, how did Adam escape Elle, and make it to Montreal, after she lightning-bolted his arse? It's quite possible that she let him go in order to keep up the Company's masquerade with Peter.

The only thing that troubles me about this theory is that the Company is now going after Claire's blood. They make it look like since they no longer have Adam's blood, that her blood is the next option. Which kind of blows the whole theory of Adam and the Company workign together.

i think it's important to keep in mind that The Company and The Numerati are separate entities who have some people in common. Think of the two as a Venn Diagram.

Good point. I'm still trying to sort out the 2. Mama Petrelli's role in all of this is still a big mystery. She was on Linderman's side in season 1, which was in favor of the bomb. She acted like she was on the hunted listed amongst Kaito and the other originals. But now that I think about it, she might be working with Adam. At the end of the episode it looked like Nathan was in Montreal pulling up to the building where Peter and Adam are. I kind of assumed Bob told Nathan where to find Peter, but that's assuming Bob knew their location. It could be entirely possible that Adam told Mama P, who in turn told Nathan. Who knows.

Well, if Peter can recover his memory thru his healing power, I don't think Adam will be affected by memory loss for too long.

I thought about this loop-hole, and your point makes sense. But even after Peter had Adam's ability it still took his mom and Adam coaxing him with pictures of his family to make his remember. So who's to say Adam if had his memory wiped that he would remember anything without someone's assistance.

I think the writers are afraid to let Peter have complete control over all his powers. If he could, no bad guys would be able stand up against him (except maybe The Haitian, but he's like a double spy). As for Elle, I do think Peter lets her lighting his ass because she is so hot. well, what I think is happening with the company:

They are a group of people, who have agreement on a goal, but not on the means to achieve that goal.

These people have been together for a long time so we've been told. So they are probably all life long friends, but have grown apart over time, in perspective and insight. Still friends, yet have slowly grown apart to the point where they may be pitted against each other. Classic polarization as is common in any group of people.

Deveaux and Bob (note: he's got some sort of alternate motive yet to be revealed, it's obvious) seem to have been representing a weaker perspective... and Mom, Linderman representing the other perspective. And now that Nathan has messed up blowing up new york, the tables have turned, and the balance of influence within the group has shifted.

Adam: don't know enough to infere anything, but we know he is the core member of the company (he brought them all together), and that at some point, he did something, worthy of the group collectively deciding he had to be locked up.


Hatian: He's the key master I think. He's been playing with everybody. He's with HRG vs. the Company, He's with Clair vs. the world, because he's with Momma Pitrelli. But he also works with Bob. I think he may be the important knowledge holding hero, the important one to our new generation of power weilding people






in the end of the Kinsei vs. Hiro business, I think Mama Pitrelli, Papa Pitrelli, and Kaito will come into play. I think they will play the two love triangles against each other... and perhaps elaborate on the functioning of the company

of all the characters we know, he knows the most secrets. Not from eating them, because it's already been defined that he doesn't steal the memories, just erases them. But simply because he seems to work for everybody, good or evil (whoever is good, and whoever is evil). That's what I meant about him being the key to the company. Of all the characters on the show, I think he is the one we know of, that knows the most about whats going on.

Your post is confusing, but basically it comes down to this:

- "The Company" was the leftovers of the original Twelve in the photo (Mama Petrelli, Papa Nakamura, Bob, etc). Mama Petrelli and Papa Parkman were on Linderman's side, whereas Nakamura wasn't.
- Thompson and Bennet both worked for this company.
- Bennet left The Company.
- Thompson and Linderman died. Assuming Linderman was boss and Bob was his #1 (Batman reference!)...
- Bob took over The Company.
- Mama Nakamura is currently against the Company after her son's near death experience.
- One of the originals, the immortal Adam, is free and looking for vengeance.
- The Haitian is apparently a double agent, with his loyalties appearing to lie with Bennet.

Leaving us where we are now.
