Slender Man is terrifying because he's the embodiment of that fear of being watched. It doesn't matter what he looks like. That's not where the terror derives from. Slender Man is scary because he's always watching.

But seriously, I'd love to see a different approach to the Slender Man story. No changing anything, just kind of sick of the whole camcorder thing where people just happen to encounter him.

As with an old mock up poster of mine, I'd like to see more of a story where it's families actually having their children stolen/killed, causing the hyper-mania in town.

Shemtov, we discussed Mr. Peg I think last year, I remember the discussion but it seems to have trailed off. I'm all for resurrecting the discussion. I never truly found out anything worthwhile on the subject.
