The CW Passes on Aquaman

I just knew that this would go off onto the internet articles the next day. More to come.

Yeah, the more we pressure the CW. The more likely we'll get Aquaman. Petition now up to 117, one day later- imagine a week from now + all the letters it will be getting in the next couple of months. I don't know how the CW can say no and still show it's face.

Well, Wednesday's at 9:00pm would have been murder anyway, it would have been set-up to fail. They need to put it right behind SV if they would have moved forward with it.

A bit harsh, aren't we?

Not really. Not if you consider that Al and Miles are the Uwe Boll of television.

WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!!!!! HOLD ON NOW.

First of all, no one out there in the world of filmmaking can possibly be as bad as that untalented hack!! Second of all if you don't care about this show or Smallville then kindly GET THE F*** OUT!!!

yeah, Al & Miles those bastards, with the longest running Superman series of all time....shame on them!

It's a troll. Which is actually good news. Meaning trolls only come around when they see a major success ahead. Trolls are annoying, but the "black dogs" (omens) to success for that certain project in the future.

Also, had the petition linked since yesterday.... I'm also Luthor5339. We've got it up to, last time I checked 117, so 120 (I believe) already.

Sending the letter today. I really don't see how CW can say no with this fan reaction.

Hmm Paul Anderson comes pretty damn close

Also they helped write Spider-Man 2. Although not officially credited. Their inspiration is obvious.

Actually, it's the longest running show about Clark Kent, NOT Superman..............:)

Well, I'm sure glad a long running show automatically equals quality.

Thankfully their inspiration didn't go too far...........

I hope the 120 stands for 120,000, because if not, don't bother.

I've added my sig to the petition--but Milkman's right. In order for this petition to get the Network's attention, the number of signatures will need to be overwhelmingly large.

Also. Another way to spread the word is to send in to the official site of superherohype in hopes that they will add it as a news bulletin with a link to the leaked trailer. Way to spread the word farther than just message boards. We need to get wider attention.

i find it funny how everybody was bashing mercy reef wanting a cyborg series instead, and now that its cancelled everybody has done a complete 180.

bandwagon much?

The trailer has much to do with the recent 'explosion' of interest.

I've signed the petition of course, but this needs to be put on the front page here and on all the other major websites.......

With one day, part of it is already up at comicbookresources. Going to see if they can post a link to the petition and the address. Hopefully they will.

Also, send in the news to superherohype. Hopefully, fan reaction can also inspire them to add the information to their main site. This trailer expands, the petition expands.

Its not that it got cancelled. Its the fact that it actually looks good when everyone thought it would suck. Two different things

What main sites are you talking about?

So, far sites that I can think of:

ComicBookResources
KryptonSite (I'll probably be able to get one over there, since it's another "hot spot" for this whole fan reaction)
SuperherohypeHype (which will probably also include ComingSoon)

Also, EOnline will probably hear about soon- since they were one of the major sites that stated that Aquaman was going to be CW's "flagship" series.

I wonder if the Quicktime Trailer can get on ComingSoon.net ? Thatd get viewers

isnt that why people should usually reserve passing judgment on a show until the see it? let alone before its even filmed?

Yeah, definitely. Because there were a couple of Aquaman fans who used to be skeptics on here. So, that trailer- if passed around will definitely bring in LOTS of viewers. We just have to help it spread, then once we lay the foundation all we have to do is light it up and the whirl storm is all over the net.

SHH
Joblo.com
Latino Review
Moviehole
Comics Continuum
Blue Tights
Superman Homepage

Write in to ComingSoon. I already did. Let them know and this trailer should be on the net in no time. Not to mention it might also gain the attention of wider sites as well. Problem is- right now it's contained to message boards. We get it out there, we're looking at LOTS of sigs on the petitions, lots more letters and the works.
