The CW Passes on Aquaman

I just finishd seeing the Pilot and I give it I dont know why they didnt pick this series up, it was good. I guess they want to concentrate in Smallville more. I just hope they give more money for each episode now so we can get top notch effects in Smallville.

Well, it wasn't a perfect thing but I really enjoyed it... I think they set up enough mysteries that need solving that it probably coulda worked as a show.

Too bad.

Justin Hartley was the best thing about the Pilot, too...warm and funny and gorgeous to boot. What's not to love about him? I can't wait to see him as the Green Arrow...

That chick who played the pilot and was in Vengeance still can't act her way out of a paper bag, however...

And Aridrianne Paliki (the girl who played Kara in Covenent and the siren here) needs to get a better agent...

Just watched it. I actually thought it was pretty decent. It at the very least got me interested in the show. Oh well. At least it was entertaining. Vengeance chick did a little better this time. And Lou Diamond was surprising. I didn't know he was in it. I give it.

The episode showed a lot of potential and a story that could be very compelling. But I'd rather see Aquaman as a feature film trilogy than a TV show. Don't get me wrong, the episode was good. I just can't see the TV writers keeping the quality up on a continuing basis, and I think the plot deserves to put up in an epic movie trilogy. I might invest in some Aquaman trades along with my Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman collection.

It was after she was on Smallville, and I believe it was her that referred to another girl as being her kryptonite. It cartainly made me go hey, wonder if they were knowingly going for a connection there.

The only reason I can think of is that it is basically the same reason why you don't see Owen Wilson fixing his nose which is that they a remembered by people not only by there acting, but also of unique and/or specific physical feature(s).
