Just wanted to make a thread for some of the various 10th Anniversary screenings going on this Summer. If you find any others please post them here.

I'm surprised IMAX isn't doing something special for it considering it was the first fictional film to use IMAX Cameras.

Hard to believe it's ten years. I remember that first viewing almost like it was yesterday.

Dude, same here. The hype was at an all time high, and it surpassed every expectation. Seeing it in IMAX was amazing.

Wow, time has gone fast. TDK doesn't seem a decade ago!

And 10 years later it is still regarded as the best CBM.

It's sad that it's been 10 years, and very few comic book films have lived up to the aspirations of this film. When you go to most superhero films you get what you'd expect. However, this film pushed far beyond the boundaries of the genre to give us something special. The only films that have come close in the past 10 years are Days of Future Past, and Logan. Wish there were more directors in this genre that would dare to overachieve like Nolan did.

Yeah no disrespect to any CBM, but I'm still of the mind TDK is the best ever at least the best since the SH boom

Come on IMAX give us some screenings.

Seriously...I need an IMAX screening. I'd be pretty happy with a 35mm print, but IMAX would be lovely. Huge missed opportunity if they don't do it IMO.

Thanks for making this thread. I wasn't even aware there had already been screenings. Kinda bummed I missed one near me in Feb. I'll definitely be watching like a hawk for them.

That's not on IMAX to decide. It's WB's call since they're the ones who hold the rights and are in charge of distributing the film. Personally, I think they could hold limited engagement screenings and there'd be a pretty good turnout but usually those are more common for 20th anniversaries of films like the Star Wars and Jurassic Park re-releases.

So jealous. Just another reason I wish I lived in Canada.

I live in Canada but can't make the road trip that weekend.

hmmm,,,,,just an hour for me.....might have to think about going.

Dude, go. This is a rare screening. The Hong Kong Jump, the Bat-Pod Chase, The Hospital Explosion, and Batman vs the SWAT team. This movie is amazing in IMAX.

I've kicked myself for not seeing it. I had a chance while I was on vacation in New York city. It was my first time there and only had a few days to spend so I wound up skipping it. This might be my chance.

If you end up going let us know how it went. I'm assuming it'll be a digital screening, and I'm curious if that'll fill up the screen during select scenes.
