you are now officially hated!!!:hehe:

I just wanted to ramble a bit and this seemed like a good place. I am so hyped for this movie!!!

Sometimes it still feels like a dream that BATMAN has made it back to the big screen.
It felt weird when BB came out. I used to have dreams about Batman getting a movie again, really. Then, it actually came true.

I am a huge Batman fan, i love him, if I had to read and watch only one Superhero the rest of my life it would be Batman, and I'd never get sick of him.

When I was ten I saw BATMAN, and even though I loved him before that, my earliest memories are of Batman, from cartoons and the old tv show but,
it changed my life, it made me an even bigger fan.

When I was 12 the second movie came out and I started collecting the comics that summer.

I was so sad to see what happened to the movies, then after B&R I thought that was it. WB doesn't seem to get what they own so I was shocked to see a new and better Batman movie get made.

I'm just so grateful Nolan and Goyer did it, and it didn't get screwed over like Superman in SR, what a shame, Supes deserves the BB treatment, anyway back to the Bat, I loved BB when I saw it and when I got the dvd, well, till this day I watch it over and over, almost every day. When I was a kid the old movies were perfect, I loved them, but some things nagged at me, and now to have these new films which are more faithful to the books and everything is just awesome! It's amazing this has happened.

I know a few things are different from the books in the new movies but the characters aren't as screwed up as before. sure the Burton movies were good but heck even he likes the new ones better.

It's nice to have a younger skinny Joker, and it's great they've based TDK joker on the first appearances of him in the comics, and I love that they took stuff from the 70's, even small stuff is cool like Bruce living in the penthouse like in the 70's, it's for a different reason, but still nice. In the book it was because Batman wanted to be closer to the city, now it's 'cause Wayne Manor burnt down.

Man I can't wait for Batman to get back home and get the Cave built up.

The new movie looks great and I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome!
I agree 100%. My dad was a huge bat-fan and took me to the theater when B89 came out. (I was born in 87 so I was SCARED :p)

But yeah, Batman is back, and hopefully for good. :brucebat:

Anyone pick up those Reeses yet?

And I have to state I think the second full (theatrical) trailer was really poorly made. A better trailer for hype overall, but it just had too many dumb random things thrown in for no apparent reason.

IMO. :o

I agree somewhat, in that I like the first trailer from December better. The second trailer had to touch on many different elements of the story in order to pique (sp?) the interest of the general public. So yes, as you said, a better trailer for hype.

I've been looking for the Reeses. No luck yet...

I thought that too. Then I watched it about a million times. Now I love it! It's equal to the first for me. Different, for sure, not as brooding. But still just as good.

Check out The Verizon Wireless/Nokia tie-in site that includes these features - V CAST trailer, a mobile game, a digital comic and a new featurette titled "The Technology Behind Batman." :batty:

My brother won the the weekly drawing with this entry: Can Bats Fly?

This was mine: A Public Service Announcement

The winners are drawn at random and the prize is $50 worth of Reese's products, which ironcily is about how much we bought to make both vids. But it was a fun little project and I was happy with the way mine turned out.

Thats cool that your brother won the 2nd week of the contest !
I won the contest the first week with my video called "fry Up"

Reeses said it will take 6 to 8 weeks for us to get are prize pack.

I can't seem to find any place that even sells Reese's Bat-shaped candy. Every place I go just has the regular packaging.
What places have them?

The TDK marketing blitz continues...I saw 2 new billboards on I95 this morning on the way into work. One was Batman on the batpod, the other the Joker....the images from the banners that are in most theaters. Also saw a bunch of buses with ads as well.

I get so geeked when I finally see this stuff in public after the years of anticipation. :brucebat: :woot: :hoboj:
