no way dude. I'm trying to find out how to make it cooler , sorry if i came across as an a-hole. criticism is fine as long as its constructive. the arms look small because i was trying to pull of depth ( my worst skill! ) he is supposed to be holding his arms out toward the viewer. and your right the skull could be bigger. the skull is just my style art but you right it could be bigger. like i said the other pic i did was better i am gonna get is scan of it soon. if i take my time and **** i could make a better pic

Ramore they did this before?

When making those type of pics, try drawing the fists first. Make them decently large then follow up with the forearms and further down.
And reference. Put yer fist in front of your face an notice how most of your forearm is covered by the hand.

i tryed man lord knows. i read "how to draw comics THE MARVEL WAY!" back in the 9th grade its just when i'm drawing a really muscular dude. plus like i said i really didn't take a while drawing him only like 5-10 minutes i do a better job on my next pic. i think my batman beyond is the best one i posted so far

Perspective is one of those things that takes a ton of practice don't let it get you down just start making every picture on with perspective needed in it until you master it.

I'm really hoping that at some point during Smallville (preferably not until the last few episodes), the show breaks it's "no tights, no flights" rule, and we get to see the big guy don his suit for the first time. Some of you guys might remember my photo-manipulated guess as to what that costume might end up looking like [link] that I did about a year ago (it's basically just the Green Arrow's suit, but re-colored). Well, I finally got around to drawing it

Clever, I would loose the gold buttons and the red lines, though.

For this weeks tavern jam, which was to draw the 2099 version of a DC hero, in the style of the Marvel 2099 series.

Darksied had grown tired of the Green Lantern Corps. For too long, they kept him from total conquest. So, in the year 2099 and with the help of Desaad, Darkseid created a device that would imprison a green lanterns soul, inside their own ring. He set out to the universe, imprisoning one green lantern after another, until he had captured them all. He then wore the rings on his fingers as trophies... each with an infinite amount of energy as powered by the souls of the trapped ring bearer. With the power of the rings in his control, on top of his own powers, the Guardians on Oa knew they had to stop the monster at all costs. So, they all transfered all their power into one, Ganthet. With the power of his entire race behind him, Ganthet took on Darkseid, and as a last ditch effort, he reached out to the souls of the trapped lanterns, channeling each through Darkseid. Now, in control of Darkseid, Ganthet sets out to set right all that Darkseid has done wrong... but it is a constant balance to manage all the personalities of the trapped lanterns, on top of Darkseid fighting to regain his own consciousness. It is only a matter of time before he breaks free of Ganthets control...

They are Dark Lantern 2099

I just got back from X3 and was too tired to do a proper bg. I might tighten this one up, or I might leave it like this... at least it isn't a photo

It's 2099 and above the clouds keeping the world safe from it's many disasters is, Wonder Man! Wonder Man is the son of Wonder Woman and a mysterious father that Diana has never told the identity of, not even to her own son. Wonder Man has all of the powers and abilities of his mother, but he is much stronger, nearly invulnerable, and can fly faster than a speeding bullet! Both Wonder Woman and her son have been banished from Paradise and the Amazon society. A male offspring was not something the Amazonians took very well, and the secrecy of the father has not helped quiet the upset Amazonians. Diana passed away, but not before letting her son know how special he was, and the magnitude of his powers and responsibilities. Wonder Man is nearly unstoppable, as his enemies have yet to find a weakness. And many have said, on numerous occasions, how Wonder Man and Super Man from the old historical documents look exactly alike..........

Eclipso is the most badass villain in the universe. Read an Eclipso comic book. He doesn't have a motive! He just runs around being a huge ******* and slaughtering at will. I figured his love of carnage justified giving him a meat grinder for an arm. Anyway, uh, story: Pretty well in keeping with everything that's ever happened involving Eclipso, the crystal comes into someone's posession and subsequently they're transformed into Eclipso. This time it's a robot at a slaughterhouse. How appropriate! I'm sick of working on this. Expect another one from me later this week.

Batman 2099 Bio:

An aging Bruce Wayne was developing a cloning process so he could continue his original War on crime after his death. Not wanting to burden one of his wards with the task of being Batman. He was almost finished with the process when Superman was killed. Bruce had a sample of Superman's DNA (because he's Batman and does that sort of thing) using it to add to his own genetic cocktail. But only to make him stronger and and the gift of super hearing. He felt that his duplicate with all of Superman's powers might be corrupted from all of that power. But after the original Bruce died the clone process was finished and the first Batman clone stepped into the cave. Greeted by a video of the belated crimefigther, he was presented with his new suit showing a new symbol dedicated to his 2 fathers.

Robin 2099:

After Bruce Wayne cloned himself using some of his DNA. He began to think back on the support system he had over the years. If he clone dies, his legacy dies. So he began developing the "Robin Program" This would be a program to grow his clones at a natural rate and train them for their final destiny as Batman. So after the first clone was done and continued on the war on crime. A second clone was born. The Original clone noticed a difference in his new ward after 15 years. He seemed to have a thing for flight and seemed to be growing stronger, while not being as obessed with loss as he was. When investigating this new Robin's DNA the Batcomputer began playing a message from the original Bruce Wayne on his death bed. As the mesage played The clone was amazed that these were the orginal Batman dying thouhgts. The original Bruce took the oxygen mask away from his mouth raised one eye blow and said "it took you long enough." He then expalined that the one thing that haunted most over the decades he wore the cape and cowl was the death of Jason Todd (The 2nd Robin Killed by the Joker) So the first clone in the Robin Program was created almost completely from Superman's DNA. The message ended saying "train him well, I was always amazed by Clark's moral code... it's what seperated us... don't let it happen again" The new Robin has an interesting road ahead of him.

I like it, once again we see a flight jacket type thing. Nice.

:heart: Holy Cow....I think I'm in love!!! ShadsenTie, I love the Spirit and you did a great job with it. And the place and the weird character people, they remind me of the Yellow Submarine cartoon of the Beatles whom I also love so....your pic is sweet. Many kudos to you!!! Keep up the fantastic work!

I just notice Dr. Magnificent's hat with the hand coming out of it reminds me of Inspector Gadget and Dr. Suess. Lol. I love it, man!

It always amazes me when I check the boards and I see that this thread is still alive. What I find as equally amazing, is the great amount of really, really, awesome artwork that people are posting. Seriously, most of it blows me away.

Keep up the good work.

Nice Spirit(Acid Trip) work, very cool, I like it

What's up OneDisturbedSOB, where have you been?

Very nice job, it's impressive to see what you can do with only white and red on black.
