Well, its way after the fact, but here was what I was working on for the Batman Beyond idea. I just never was able to finish it because I am busy with other stuff:

(traced from a drawing of Gen 13)

Its Poison Ivy for Batman Beyond, maybe something like Ivy 2.0
She was a Nano Technician (scientist who works on small cell like robots) who accidentally became filled with them, perhaps replacing her blood. These tiny robots took over every part of her body, like the worms in Futurama, and allow her to not only have heightened strength and speed, but also allow her to control most electrical/mechanical/robotic devices. And since now, in the Batman Beyond Future, most of the world is covered with electronic/robotic devices she can almost control the whole world. Another small power is the ability to control the nanites (thats how you say it right? Nanites) in her system to alter her heir color, eye color, skin color, heal her, grow her fingernails, grow out her hair, alter her finger prints, things like that. (maybe even something with skin cells that would normally flake off leaving evidence of her, something like stopping that or altering the cells to be different so they can't trace it back to her or something).

Her costume looks like Ivy, not on accident, she took inspiration from Ivy after her accident and discovering the similarities between the two women from different eras.

One thing I don't know is her evil plans. Does she want to simply take over the world, does she believe the world should be nothing but tech? Down with the trees? Or does she have other plans? Does she want to make everything nano tech because, in her head, she would control everthing and she is the most qualified (like Hulk's Leader in Gamma World)? Or, in her head, is Nano Tech the way of the future, and can cure hunger, disease, loss of limbs, homes, and everything, and she wants to spread this world view and save everyone from themselves?

nice concept and art, especially the nano-tech idea. only thing i would mentions is maybe keeping dark parts white or another shade of green instead of black. before reading your description, i was thinking green lantern.

Good idea, the circutry parts of her costume, that are black on the initial concept would be dark green, like a micro chip:

Um... only dark green. while her boots, sleeves, and torso, would be a lighter green, and I was thinking her mask would be dark green like her circuitry.

here is a really rough sketch of my new batman beyond tell me what you think (opinions? / ideas?) before i do a final ink and color

Wow, I actually really like that suprisingly

But why is the collar different in the top pic

To me it looks almost like a shirt over a body suit with the S attached to the body suit

i really love the supe design with the collar from way above...

superman is the only superhero thats never been updated much.. i seriously hope zack snyder improves the suit. though knowing him it'll look identical to the classic costume.

that design above looks perfect

Very cool design.

I also really like the Smallville one above, with the collar. It looks appropriately 'alien.'

ROBIN BEYOND!

this is if robin existed in the beyond universe, the diagram on top shows the palm side of his hand in a battle mode which is like a crazy overpowered stun gun, which could potentially kill if needed, i feel robin though a experienced fighter needs a little more help than batman would, the arm also fires a limited supply of "robirangs" and acts as a grapple hook

the skiding is from a sudden stop

hes using a electrical motorized version of these:

cool design man. are those things real?

about the skidding tho, it should be on the same side if it is a sudden stop. just nitpicking

I don't know why I think sudden stop with a slight turn I pictured it all dramatic like

Sorry I realized it looked off after I colored it I will move the skid later

you don't have to apologize man. always take what everyone says here as suggestions, not corrections.

with that said:woot:.....wouldn't the skid marks be the other way since he is sliding into a sudden stop instead of moving forward into a sudden stop. if he stopped suddenly like that, he would trip forward and fall on his face. (i'm thinking ice skaters)

The skids could just as easily be from a turn rather than a stop, or even just a visual effect to show which direction he's moving. Either way, for concept art, it's not too important, since there's no context.

Yeah, it's cool. I never got into Batman Beyond for whatever reason, so I can't really say how well it fits that aesthetic or anything like that, but it certainly accomplishes the "futuristic Robin" look.
