I just posted this over in the Green Lantern forum, but I thought I'd post here as well. Just finished a Green Lantern trailer.

Here are a couple of manips I did specifically for the trailer:

this is very cool...and the trailer looks awesome, what movie is the nathan fillon scenes from...everything looks so real, i specially like the post trailer scene. very professional. looking forward to the real trailer just by watching yours.

Most of the Fillion scenes are from the movie "Serenity" and the show "FireFly".
The scene at the end is from "White Noise 2".

yeah that is pretty cool. i would make the blue a dark blue, and the black yellow. not really feeling the sky blue and black.

UPDATE: something like this.

Don't know if i'm feeling the yellow but I definately like the blue better.

Update: better? yeah yello felt a little too bright when you brought it up. i darkened the red a bit too. let me know if you had something else in mind

i still like the yellow but some detail on his legs couldn't hurt . but who am i to say.

I like that but I would prefer the black instead of yellow but that's just me.

I was working on combining Corps design and this one camp blood then there would be some detail on legs.

Also Corp is redesigning his but has been feeling it's not good enough so he started over.

thanks man, not sure if a magician should tell the secret...









i used the S from the other drawing and stretched it over the shoulders of this one. same with the muscle shading, i took the body of the previous drawing, made it 50% opaque, cut it up into piecees, and placed them all over this drawing accordingly.

don't take anything away from you. you did a really nice job. it's hard to draw on the computer without the pen and pad (unless you have one , but still). i rarely draw anything from scratch on the computer. can't ever replace good old fashioned paper and pencil.

I feel like an ass I was so proud of this I went on Wieringo's DA site to post this so he can see it and let him know I liked it enough to imitate (its the sincerest form of flatery or so I hear) and after I do I see on one of his other pictures them talking about RIP Ringo so I google it he died I didn't even know.

It would be as cool but it might be worth a look or maybe even the Kingdom come design.

Xfan I agree and that guy didn't even enter it in the contest and I think it could have won.
