Ya, it's a lot of fun if you have some spare time on your hands. And it's good if you don't have the time to think up your own stuff. It's like a mind boost allowing you to create some fun characters. Than later on can be adapted to paper or photoshop

Ok I think thats enough Heromachine for this page lets get back to old fashioned art.

Several of those images serve as a showcase of the stupid cliches of female superhero design. Seriously, what's the deal with that? Like I've said in the past, people who put on masks and fight crime have extreme personalities, and sure, you're going to find some exhibitionists in that crowd, but the idea that every heroine is going to design her costume to make herself look like a sex object is absurd. There needs to be a serious adjustment in the way female superheroes are portrayed visually, if the comic book industry ever wants to see them taken seriously. Another good step would be for artists to stop drawing every single woman in every single panel of every single comic with her back arched and her ass and chest sticking out.

Suuuuure it is...

You show me a single issue where Arthur Curry looked like that, or Ted Kord, or Joker, for that matter, and I'll shut up and give you a hug. Lighten up, man.

In a lot of ways, I agree. Sure, there need to be some who keep the persona, but generally speaking, in some ways, I think we've actually worked ourselves into a different set of problems. On one hand, we've got women like Cassandra Cain who kick ass and take names, but then we've got books like Marvel Divas, or Gotham City Sirens, "aimed" at a female demographic, which, to me, is kind of insulting. I mean, what, the girls who like the comics aren't smart enough to follow what's going on in the regular books or something?

There's nothing to lighten up about.

Gender-bending is just a lame cliche, it's not redesigning to change someone's gender.

Man...lol, some people in here just take life way too seriously...

Or they could just care less about over-exaggerated art of women dressed as something...

Okay, I'm asking this in the most non-jerk way possible.

But are you a girl who is just offended by it?
